Chou Yarikuri Enjoy: Tamagotchi Kakeibo!

[Tran s: Enjoying Managing your money: Tamagotchi Account Book]

Just Released in Japan today.

Chou Yarikuri Enjoy: Tamagotchi Kakeibo!

I was the first one to buy one. Haven't opened it yet, [i did slip out the instruction booklet though]

but when I do I'll post more pictures and information. The instruction booklet looks pretty thick, at about 34 pages long.

Just a heads up, the kakeibo is not really a Tamagotchi, you don't care for any gotchi.

What it is, is a tool for managing and economizing for your ENTAMA.

Kakeibo means [money book]

While It might be possible for other infrared tams to connect, the

website says in bold letters "For Use with Entama".

The Kakeibo comes with an account book as well that you use to hold

your Kakeibo.

Basically, the kakeibo is more in-depth Deka with some tamatown

thrown in, Think of it as a place in TamaTown that you can own and go to anytime

you want.

The places that are on Ginza street are:

Drug Store

Convenience Store

Flower Shop

Cake Shop

Ginza Supermarket

discount Store

There is also a Gotchi Bank for you to deposit money for later use.

You can also invest your money into Gotchi stock and watch your

invest grow. Or drop. CHARACTER: Dango Obatchi-san

[One of the main reasons why I got one. You can only have

9999G on your Entama. But now we can use money more freely... Ive been wanting to

get a spaceship but don't want to go down to 0G in one go. Also I hate having my littloe

Gotchi getting a salary of 5000G everyday from work it already has 9999G

(>.<; ) ]

There is the Gotchi Library

Here you can make a dictionary. If you help in the library you can

recieve free service. [Thats my direct translation from the website - what it means to make

a dictionary, I have no idea.] CHARACTER: Waka Okutchi San

Next there is the YariKuri Center

[Yarikuri means "to manage, or get by, the best you can with what you

have"] Here you can auction off, or sell your gotchi points, or items and so

on in a flea market.

Osewatchi's house.

Osewatchi is the main character on the Kakeibo and she'S Ginza's most

famous resident. She'll help you out around Ginza Street.

Finally there is the Ginza Street Arcade.

Here you can play games and win money and items [i think] But the

website only says that you have to keep the ball from hitting Osewatchi. So it seems there is only

one game in the Arcade.

Cool info! I gotta get my self one of those  I'm a great fan of the japanese tamas.. I allways get at least one!

Yeah, I got one, still haven't it opened up yet though. Waiting for moment when Im not too tired and sleepy. Unfortunately there is only one color out for it right now.

funky lookin, ive actually never heard/seen on before but there kool i like em

The Kakeibo is thin and slim like a credit card!!! I'll post some pictures in about an hour or so.

Well, I was wrong about being able to deposit money from your entama into Ginza Street Gotchi Bank.

You can only deposit money made on your Kakeibo into the bank.

However you can send money from Gotchi bank to your Entama.

This kind of defeats the purpose of why I bought the stupid thing. So now Ive lost about 70% interest in it >.<

Unless your a hard core collector I don't recommend this one to anyone. However if your are confident in your Japanese ability go for it. It can be played with, but you'll need a dictionary, or in my case, a Japanese wife. Like Entama news, there are daily announcements. Sales and bargain and such daily. while not important its there.

The kakeibo is really thin. Like a calculator! Check it out in the pics. The kakeibo fits in the account book nicely. The account sheets are for balancing your budget. Just like you would do for your checking account if you live state side.

There are four different types of sheets.

Wallet.

Date/Income/debit/balance

Regular bank account

[deposit up to a 999G+ in multiples of 10]

Date/Income/Debit/Balance/

Regular bank savings account

[deposit up to a 9,999G+can't make withdrawls for 2days or you have to pay a penalty]

Date/Income/Debit/Balance/

Super bank savings account

[deposit up to a 99,999G+can't make withdrawls for 5days or you have to pay a penalty]

Date/Income/Debit/Balance/

Also you have sheets for keeping a record of the daily announcements.

You have to create PIN number for accessing the bank.

Finally, when you start up the kakeibo and input the dates, names, and birthday as usual. You get a playing bonus of a 1000G

I took that 1000G and invested it in Tamagotchi stocks this afternoon. A minute ago I checked it and its up 800G! Should I sell? Probably but lets see if it goes up some more!

That doesnt put me off buying one :furawatchi: I buy anything in my opinion.

Thanks for the infomation though. :furawatchi:
