    Nah, I think it's okay as long as you can handle them. I've got 5 running right now since I just got my morino yesterday. :)

    Two is my limit. When i take care of 3 or more, they just get on my nerves x)

    when i was younger (elementary school)i would take care of everyone else's tamas and bring them home. i was the best caregiver in my school. i had up to 5 tamas of my own running plus everyone else's which numbered up to a good 11 or 12 tamagotchis. The tamas seemed to have fun. i also got to breed them making a huge genetic line :P
