ok. my tamagotchi is a gourmatchi and it's named moe (ha). it went to school as a toddler like anyone else. now it has graduated and is in school with mr turtle. whats the next step? how do you know what your job is and how do you fill out the application?

 
When your Gourmatchi evolves into an adult, within a day or two it will be offered a job if it has enough skill points (at least 50 in each catagory.) Depending on which catagory has the most points, you will be offered a certain job.

here is a nice chart of the jobs.

Oh, And I should probably mention you'll want to keep your tama at a "healthy weight;" Definitely under 60 lbs. If you don't, you'll be at risk of not getting a job.
