On the v4, there aren't really any 'good' or 'bad' characters, seeing as the adult characters depend on the skill points you have. That is an average care character.

The only 'bad' characters are the universal ones.
That's essentially it, but more specifically, the break down is like this:
The GOOD characters are the characters that have a remarkable amount of skill points in one catagory, and are very difficult to obtain. They are like "special" characters.
The BAD characters, one could say, are the universal characters as Sir Fuzzalot noted. They are the ones that any tama can grow into, and are therefore the most common. It has been theorized that these universal tams come to be when a tam is not taken care of properly.
All the other characters are normal. The teenager dictates which "family" of adults your tam will grow into and then skill points dictate which actual adult your tam will evolve into.
