What's your school like?

I'm wondering what schools in other places is like, so tell me as much as possible about your school!

Okay. My school:

When school begins, when there's recess, lunch and hometime

School begins: 8.40am

Recess: 10.50am-11.10am

Lunch: 12.40pm-1.30pm

School ends: 3.00pm

The school size is about 300 students.

The class size is about 30 students.

The rooms are: Rooms 1-6, 7 (music room), 9-11, 15 and two Pre Primary classes. Counting the music room and pre primary, that's 19 classes.

The grades are Pre Primary to year 7.

The cases of bullying are very trivial compared to what happened in a story that my teacher told us (a boy came to school with a giant carving knife banging on the windows at another school).

The library and computer room are combined. It's quite small.

There's only half a class of year 5s, and 40 year 6s. Year 7s go on camp.

Tamagotchi aren't banned at our school but the older grades think they're stupid.

There are split classes. I am in a year 6/7 class.

Year 1 is 6 year olds, year 2 7 year olds and so on.

School begins at 8:45 and ends at 3:00.

Grades are from prep to 7.

Cool things include: Boyfriends, Having billions of friends, Being mean (In my opinion)

Not cool things include: Being able to sing, Not having billions of friends, Not having a boyfriend, Being different, Cleaning up the school.

Not cool things... All of the above for me!

Bullies are rare at my school but when you do come across one they're horrible, nasty and just plain disgusting.

There are 3 in my class. And some of the things they say to people are just uncalled for.

The principal takes time to listen to what you have to say which is good.

The grades are 7th - 9th (It's the Jr. High)

Period 2- 8:41-9:23 (Reading)

Period 3- 9:27-10:09 (English)

Period 4- 10:13-10:55 (either Chorus, Study Hall, or PSSA Tutorial)

Period 5- 10:59-11:41 (Lunch)

Period 6- 11:45-12:27 (Enviromental Studies)

Period 7- 12:31-1:13 (Math 7 (haha, thats the lowest math class))

Period 8- 1:17-1:59 (Health & P.E.)

Period 9- 2:03-2:45 (C.L.S. Contemperary Living Skills)

school starts: 8:20 (though late bell rings at 8:40)

what's uncool: Tamagotchis, band, chorus, not wearing make up, being smart, not having a lot of friends. (I don't have one in my class) Anybody that hangs out with me, not having a cellphone, not doing what the popular kids do.

what's cool: Being a self-concious person, making fun of people, laughing out loud, getting our class in trouble.
