This is my story, I hope you like it!:

Chapter 1
I knew today was going to be one of the best days of my life. I'd had an excellent training session this morning with coach and now we are getting our exam results back.
At the house not everyone was as relaxed as me. Jackson was stressing out about his big competition next month, Alli had forgotten to do her assignment and I hadn't seen the others as the had already left.
No, they are not my siblings. We are one of the few people who have won scholarships to this figure skating and ice hockey academy. Unfortunately we still had to go to the local school so we had never had a lot of free time.
Anyway, just looking around the classroom I can tell not everyone's as confident as me.
Alli's stammering out an explanation to the teacher, Kim looks pretty pleased with her grade though. The teacher walks over to me and places a grade on my desk. A+. I turn around and flash a smile at Kim who returns it with a thumbs up.
The bell rings and we all walk out of class, all the academy kids together. Me (I'm Zara), Kim, Alli, Dean, Kate and Jackson, all of us except Lucas.
"Coming Luc?" Alli calls back to Lucas who is still packing up. He shakes his head at us as we walk out. "Is it just me or has Lucas been acting a bit strange this past month?" I ask.
"His grades and hockey score have dropped quite a bit.." adds Dean.
"Alli, can you get anything out of him? He tells you everything. You are his girlfriend after all." I say.
Alli looks at us a bit strangely, "I'll try but I can't make any promises" she says then walks into the house.
We all look at each other and turn up the path.

Chapter 2
Later on that evening there's a knock at the door. Coach answers it. "Hello Mrs Sanders" he says as Kate's mum steps inside.
"Hello Mr Brown, I'm taking Kate out for the evening?"
Kate smiles at us and her and her mum walk out of the door before either we, or coach can say anything.
Kim goes up to her room shortly after. So does Luc. Me and Jackson decide to head down to the rink. Me to practise my jumps and Jackson to practise his aim.
"What do you think has been up with Lucas recenlty?" I ask him
"Maybe it's nothing, he could just be worried about the competition coming up since his score is dropping."
"Maybe.." I agree, but we both know there is something more.
We get back a bit later and go up to our rooms.
Jackson slips into Alli's room and they both go into the garden. Kim soon follows.
The next morning Alli and Jackson are having a whispered conversation before heading off to school. Kate and I are running late and Luc and Kim have already gone. A while later I'm sitting in math class watching the teacher hand out tests. "But sir!" Kate has her hand raised, "Isn't this like the 3rd test we've had?"
"Yes it is Miss Sanders, but now know that you are very good at counting." Mr Bryan says sarcastically.
After the tests have been handed in we all walk out together, even Lucas. "That test was boring, wasn't it Zara?" Alli says nudging me.
"It wasn't boring, it was hard!" I say and Lucas and Kate nod in agreement.
Kim's mobile goes off. "Hello?" she says flipping it open. "What? Yes, OK we'll be right there." she hangs up and turns to face us. "It was coach, we've got another training session."
"OK" says Lucas. And we all start heading towards the rink.

Chapter 3
It might just be my imagination but Alli and Jackson keep glancing at each other as we skate round the rink. Lucas is skating faster than he has been in ages so that's a good sign. Kim's coming a close second though.
"Work it work it work it!!" Coach is yelling at us. "Nice going Zara! You're doing great Jackson! Lucas, Kate you can do better than that!"
Three exhausting hours later we are sitting in the common room, well, Lucas, Kate and I are. Alli and Jackson are by the pool. Kim is nowhere to be seen. I turn on the T.V and soon Kate and I are hooked on a movie called 'Ice Princess'. Luc has gone to his room as he doesn't want to watch a chick-flick and Kim has just walked in looking angry.
"Go to bed guys!" Coach has yelled at us and because of our exhausting training session no-one disagrees.
