My last tamgotchi had a baby then left. I named the baby Riah (short for Mariah), then the next day her name is Piah. I know yesterday I read Riah. Does anyone know what happened

It happened to me. I named my tama SONIC But the next day is was QONIC! Don't worry

When the battery is low then it does funny things with the names! Or maybe you got the wrong battery.

I've seen many people report this problem. It seems to be a common problem on the V4. In all cases this fixed the problem: press the Reset button on the back of you Tamagotchi. When the Download / Reset menu appears on the screen, select Download.
