YESTERDAY I DROPPED MY V.4 IN MY GLASS OF WATER.. :D :D AND I KNOW IT SOUNDS WEIRD BUT ITS TRUE :wacko: :wacko: NOW ITS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY...WHY IS THIS :p :D :wacko:

 
Aww.. ^_^ Same thing happened to me when I was eating man I cried. Just let the battery hole dry off for a day and the replace it with a new battery :eek: . This is not weird it can be common if you eat with your tamagotchi alot :p .

Don't worry, you are not doomed yet. As locky said, take the back cover off and let it dry out for a while, and replace with a new battery. You should be able to press the reset button and then download - I've dropped a tama in water before, and although it's frightening at first, you can get it to work again.

 
To answer your question: It is not working correctly because Tamagotchis are not waterproof ;)

Locky458 and Gejitchi have given you suggestions as to how you can fix it so I won't repeat it all ;)

 
my tama fell into a puddle once and i was only 8 so i was crying me head off. then my mum took it back home and when i saw it, it was all dry and it started to work propely!! :)
