There have been several encounters where balls invaded food lists and Tamas have eaten poop. I am among the people with the "ball glitch". Balls have been invading my item list and my Tama ate them no problem though. :)

If you're making your tama eat balls/poop, my best suggestion would be to stop feeding them it.

It's a common glitch and it could freeze your tama. (you never know, it's happened to all of my friends and me) ;)

And if your tama is eating them theirself, then it'd be best to push the button on the back of your tama with a sharp object, and click Download.

Yes, it's a very common glitch. Someone else just reported that their tama ate a wig. Do you have an endless suply of balls in the food as well?

This is the Ball glitch. It is common in v4 tama's. If it gets to out of control you can reset it! ;)

 
On V3 the ball glitch is enforced by death. The higher generation, the more you get when it dies.

I've had the ball glitch on my version3 but never eatin toys on my version4.
