Their infamous JD logo is synonymous with tamagotchi fakes. JD is THE fake tamagotchi manufacturer. If you see a product with JD on it, it's fake.

Hmm.. Good Call . But people should be aware of the BAN-DAI logo on it. I have to Admit JD has some cool looking fake tamagotchi's, I should buy one. JD is the most common fake tamagotchi you will see.

Be aware also that real tamas have at least the Tamagotchi logo on the toy.

EDIT- Unless its Tamagotchi Plus, they dont have the logo on the toy.
