Humm.... I would go for trying to get the "o"s. As they are worth more points.

Also bet 9 points, this way you can win the maximum amount of points. Try to look for a certain position your tamagotchi is in when you've got a 0. This way you know when to press the button on time. Good luck 
keep a close eye and quicly react when u see it jump that means 0 if u bet 9 and get 3 0s you will win 900p!!!!!!!wow thats alot

Seems kinda hard to actually get what you want... I usually use the "random button press" method, but I must say the success rate is not as high as it could be...
