is this a glitch?

My tamagotchi didn't get to choose from presents when it went to school and now it's got a job and it won't play the minigame!! What's wrong???

1. How do you know it didn't get to choose from presents?

2. Which job has it got? Can you describe the mini game?

This may see like an obvious question, but did you remember to press A or B when you see the AWAY sign?

(when you send your tama to school/work?)

Your tama can't choose presents or play a mini game for its job unless you play the game for it

If you did all these things anyway, then you need to give us more info about what you saw when everyone elses tama was choosing gifts at school
