I have found after raising several generations on the V4...

When I first receive my V4, I started my V4... this was the growth chart

white-Triangle baby (i forgot what her name was) -->Mizutamatchi --> Young Memetchi -->Ponitchi

it got married and got a baby girl, I raised it in a completely different way for the second generation

for the first generation, I tried to have a perfect care! and for the second generation

I was aiming for other character (since I got another girl) But to my surprise

it turned into another Ponitchi!

Growth Chart:

white-Triangle baby --> Mohitamatchi --> Young Memetchi --> Ponitchi

I was really annoyed at this stage

I search for questions and stuff... I found several other people experiencing this problem

they got the same character twice in a row...

for the first Gen, I took perfect care of it

for the second Gen, I took really bad care of it...

I dont know if its really programmed that way, but has anybody experience this problem too?

and does anybody know how to solve it?

I've started / restarted my V4 three times, and have had completely different growth paths for the first generation each time. My first start adult was Tosakatchi, second start adult was Mimitchi, and third start adult was Memetchi (then Makiko).

However, from generation to generation I've been stuck in a loop before. The second time I started it I got Shirotsubutchi - Puchitchi - Ringotchi - Mimitchi. Her daughter was Shirotsubutchi - Puchitchi - Ringotchi - Mimitchi, and her daughter was also Shirotsubutchi - Puchitchi - Ringotchi - Mimitchi. Three generations of Mimitchi.

Has anyone tried taking note of the family group thier tama mated with? Maybe it is similar to the entama where breeding a certain group to a certain group leads to a certain type of baby. That could be why they grow to be the same each generation?

thats really weird, doesnt it matter how many points you have in intelligence, fashion and kindness? maybe you just like playing a certain game (e.g. shape) that gives a lot of points in one of them (e.g. intelligence)?? that could explain something...

i dont know... but they should be able to develop into ANY teenager once they are toddlers... thats what i heard anyway!

you might just want to mate with a completely different tamagotchi for a change...

well... seems like V4 doesnt have those generation variation like in the V1-V2-V3

The disciplin level on my first and second gen was absolutely different..

like for my first gen, I have full discipline, but at the second gen I only got 3

it seems to be very hard to get characters variation at a V4

Skill Points have alot to do with Tamagotchi development. If you had the same teacher on G2 that you did on G1, that may have affected it.

For example, if you had a Young Mametchi and got high Intellectual Points, you'll get a Mametchi. If on G2 you got another Young Mametchi and got high Intellectual Points again, you'll most likely get another Mametchi.

P.S. The baby girl's name is Tsubutchi.

The teachers dont have any effect on their growth, but only if you go to them often, it would effect...

because on my second gen, I never bring my lil tama to school

except when I got the [!] letter, I was expecting for a whole new different character...

but what a dissapointment!

oh yea, and the other time I chose the turtle-teacher, I still get a Togetchi in the end...

From my point of view, there is no actual way to get a certain character. :furawatchi: For example, mametchis are supposed to be healthy, right? Well, I took really, really bad care of it, it always got sick- it was just an experiment. I heard the noise that meant evolvement, so I sat there, waiting for something like a maskatchi- then I see my young mimitchi flashing between itself and a mametchi. I just sat there, open mouthed, as I really expected one of the "bad care" characters.

Let me share another little story with you- this time, I was desperate for a mimitchi, so I took perfect care. I never let it get sick, even when it was a baby, I played lots of games with it, and my training bar was full by the age of 2. Then, I heard it evolving- I was like, "let it be a mimitchi, please let it be a mimitchi." However, it was not a mimitchi, but a tarakotchi. I was absoulutly fuming!

So, in my opinion, it's nothing to do with the care you take- it's just random!

but i think universal characters only come when u take really bad care of them and i think teachers DO affect the development because my friend has had a tamagotchi version 4 ever since they came out in japan (thats quite a long time) and everytime she had the flower teacher she got a memetchi then she changed to the art teacher because she was bored of memetchis (even tho she loves them) and she suddenly had a kuchipatchi!

This is what I think. From a baby to a todler affects what type of family your 2 parents like mame+meme=Mitzutamatotchi but meme+mame=Puchitchi the variation of your tama and partner is that it will end up with.So like 4 familys X 4 todlers=16 so there is 4 ways to get 1 todler.so a kutchipatchi+ a mimitchi = something different than a mimitchi + a kutchipatchi. Also I think from toddler to teen is buy care and teen to adult is affected buy skill points or wight or neglect.

I can believe the "random care" theory works for V1-V3 (although for V1 I have consistently managed to get every character I wanted thru' a specific care routine) but for the V4 the skill points and the gender seem to make the difference in the characters you get.

I think perfect care / bad care is not the over-riding thing on the V4.

Surely if you play a different game when earning skill points then you get a different character than before?

If you keep getting Young Memetchi and keep playing SHAPE or getting a job for Intelligence points, then you are likely to get Ponytchi.

But if you play FLAG - isn't it more likely that your Young Memetchi is going to evolve into a Violetchi??

That is the pattern on spudis growth chart: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=99281 I have been following and so far (on both my V4s) it has been exactly right each time

Yeah, I find that highly unfair, and not cool. Have you noticed if you start out with a male baby you will barely ever get a female? I also dislike how they make the females have the same gender of babies. The teens I mostly get is Gourmetchi, I’m like why? They should have programmed the skill point system with the child stage…..

I have learned that usually if you are tired of the family/group your getting, you could take different care then what you usually do. If your one of those people like me who watch them every minute of the hour, taking care of it whenever it lowers one heart, you are likely, very likely, to get the same family. But, if you take some different care, say, let it drop two hearts in both Happy and Hungry, then fill it up (do this when it's a child/toddler), you are most likely to get a teen of a different group. Try this, it may work.

Also, if you do end up with the same family, it may be random, perhaps there is a 1 out of 3 chance of getting the same family. But if you keep taking the same care it is almost a guarantee that you will get the same family.

well, this conclude that V4 just depends on the skill points too, like the EnTama and UraTama

I dont even know if the discipline bar matters too?

because I also have a friend, who took completely bad care got a Mimitchi

Well I think it matters for the traning bar because it would be such a waste of memory.I denied the random teen thing I have gotten 6 generation by combineing my 2 tamas still not a single tama from the Kuchi family.I think for a teenager it depends on when it was a toddler well to get in the Mame family never let it get down below 1 heart and mostly play games. There is sevral ways to get into the meme family.Like never let it get down more than 1 heart but you feed it all snacks.or you let it go down 2 harts before you refill it.Or you give it snacks and games alf time for each. For the kuchi family for me is unnowen well I NEVER let it down more thin 2 hearts so maybe you feed it manly snacks and let it get down to 1 black heart.WEll I have NEVER got it to a universal teen so all snacks and all hearts down.So it is still a mystery. On my next generation I will test my thery

Yeh, But on the other tamagotchi connection version it is easier to earn Training points. On the v4 I have never got my training up to 100% or so. I usually get about 3 - 5.

Hello Jiro.

My tama is in the 6th gen and my first ever tama on v4 was a boy

but for the last five gens it has been a girl.

I don't now if it's a glitch or not but i hope it is

a boy this time. No need to worry.

LA
