can creating a tamagotchi log really help you improve your tama parenting skills because i made one and it diddnt help i just found it annoying, just wrighting down every time he cried and the time he evolved and i couldnt handle it can someone give me advice.

p.s.

can someone tell me if im doing something wrong cuz my tamagotchi ignores me every ten minutes!

Hope you don't mind - but I edited the title of this topic you made so that all members get an immediate, clear description of what it is about - "I Wonder..." didn't really give me any clues ;)

Keeping a log of tama growth can be useful for some ppl.

They look back and can see patterns in the way the tama has been cared for and what the character evolved into.

They can see how often their tama calls for attention, how often mail arrives - what their fortune cookie predicted and what actually happened to them...

Those are the sorts of things that some ppl find useful to give them clues as to why they got a certain character - and which job / skill points will give them different outcomes..

These are just examples of how a log can be used. You could say that looking back on your log and using the information might make you a better parent if you try to use the information / learning that you have in your records..

Perhaps it is just the way you keep your log? It doesn't have to be an "entertaining story" - although lots of 'em are :D

Sometimes the most useful logs are simple fact sheets:

Woke up (Time):

Slept (Time):

Poohs : (Times of day)

Post/Mail deliveries (Times / What kind of mail / what effect - if any on tama)

Hope this might help a little :)

Well, yes, keeping an active log may help your parenting skills at your tamagotchi, but not always. Jotting down things about your tamagotchi or keeping a journal may help, too!

You can look back into the log and see things you put down in the past. If you said some things about getting a character you want again, then you can try it!

Memories will flow back into your mind and fill you with the past.

Or maybe keeping a pretty organized log with details will help you become a careful, good parent to your tama.

Using the information endowed from a log could help you compile a chart or list or project of some sort, such as:

  • Using experiences you had with your tama to turn into useful info, e. you wrote "I randomly entered a Shop Code into my tama and I got a steak!"
  • Using the log, you can find growth info you wrote/typed down, such as: "My baby character changed into a Marutchi!"
  • Using your log, if you drew/posted clear pictures of your character(s) you can start to create a chart/list of characters you have taken care of, others have taken care of, etc.
The list above is just a few jots to tell you what a log can do to help you be a better tamagotchi person and a better parent. But not always.....

I hope I make sense!

I found that loggin does help. Although I think reading others' logs is better, writing your own logs allows you to review what you've done at the end of the day. It paints a nice picture of how your actions affect the outcome. I think they are helpful.

I like to write in my logs.

It's pretty fun- especialy when you can look back on it. :]

I haven't been able to write in it much now that I'm back at school- that's the part that annoys me.

I personally think that it helps some people and not others because it helps to look back at your Tama's patterns and just see what to expect from it. I don't know if I'm making sense, but that is my feeling.

It doesn't appear to have helped me all that much; I keep logs and I'm still a pretty mediocre caretaker. But I'll study my logs more and see what I'm doing wrong. That's another way they can help.

I find reading other peoples logs helpful. I just write in my log when my tama gets married or has a baby. Its way less hard to do and so much more interesting!!

Yeah, sometimes how you keep your log can help you be a better Tama parent. If you get to look back at it you can view a lot of information about how you cared for your Tamagotchi and patterns in your care taking and characters.

In fact, I find having a log can be a great resource. :D

-____-

I tried doing logs.

I Made one, and lost it.

Now I use a notebook. I Only waste about 1/3 or the line paper each day.

My parenting skills havn't changed yet, heres my log. (I write at the end of the day, when my tama goes to sleep)

Pet : [memetchi]

Age: [4]

Training Points : [9/9]

Skill Points : [83/236/33]

Point : [53023]

Cried : [Time(s)]

Timeout : [Time(s)]

See, thats it. It really helps me.

I write my avrage weight, how often it got sick, current amount of training chips hearts age, about how many meals and snacks times she cried or needed timeout. times of sleep and awakening. If evolved, what charcter and it's rap. (good character, bad,)

It could, and if you find writing it into a big story then just read other people's and maybe tey'll inspire you, or even, make it from your tamagotchi's point of veiw! For example:Hi [insert tamagotchi name] here! So, today i went to theshop and got a penciil! I drew with it straight away! ect.

I know, not the best answer, but I hope I helped, even a teeny bit.

I think a log kept up withregularly really helps you take care of them because you can look at previous growths to see what happens if you take care of it another way. :D

I beleive that a log can help parenting skills. A log can teach you to be patient and can also help you take on new ways of aing care of your Tamagotchi. I personally find logs helpful, because although it takes patience to keep a steady log, it can also help ou keep track of things you may forget as time passes. It is nice to be able to look back and say, "Oh yes, that character was so sute and I think I will get that again! Let me look to see how I took care of it. <_< "

i dont really use the logs to improve my parenting skills or anything.... i just like to keep a record of my tams ^^ i find that looking back on it really tells a lot about me and the tamagotchi i raised.

I almost find that logs help my parenting skills! I enjoy writing down what my tamagotchi does, because then I can look back and think, 'boy was that fun!' But sometimes I get sad when I look at a log of a tamagotchi who has gone home to his/her planet. I think logs are helpful. :p

I keep a Tamagotchi Blog on my website, and I like it just so that I don't forget all of Tamas I've had! :D I enjoy updating it, and I like others to know what my Tamagotchi is (if anyone reads it). Sure, I think keeping a Tama Log/Blog/Diary could help you improve your caretaking skills.

i found the tama log a big nothing too. but i did find that writing in my planner on the days it evolved or the day it mated or just some big tamagotchi event on the day it happened helped a little. so maybe if you wanna try that it might help more then all that writing. and another tip i would update everynight it's training and what not it was much easier.

I have a blog for all 3 of my tamagotchis that I'm running. Ben is on my V4, Mark is on my V1, and Kiko is on my V3. I'm seeing how long Ben and Mark can live with perfect care and I'm just living out my V3 in genorations.

All 3 of there logs's links are in my siggy.
