Good call. Always be detectives when buying Tamas off of ebay. Make sure the package has the BanDai logo and not anything else common with fakes.

 
I once was on ebay and there was a fake tamagotchi that was spelt: T-A-M-A-G-O-T-C-H. !!!!!!
