today I got a V4 tama. I tried connecting it with my V3 and nazotchi popped up when my tama was Megatchi.

On my buddy list, it shows nazotchi.

Is this a glitch or is it normal?

I need to know.

Also,

I named my tama something and that name changed a day after.

Is that normal?

Please oh please answer my desperate cry of help.

 
It just means that that character isn't avaialable on the tamagotchi you connected with.

 
For the connection of a V3 and V4 is normal.....as the character of V3 are not the same as V4 so when connect the character nazotchi will displayed....

 
a nazotchi will appear when they do the gift thing,too.

to the name thing:yes it is normal.

The name change glitch is common. My "Kandi" turned into "Landi".

And Nazotchi just means the character is not on the version. 'Unknown'
