Just to let you know I have been doing some reserch on the fake tamagotchi compony called JD and gueese what? It is the same company that makes Hellow Kitty. Anyway JD makes fake tamagotchis because before P1 and P2 came out JD and Hellow Kitty was one of the top toys and when tamagotchi came out they took Hellow Kitty's spot on the list! JD was the owner of the company at the time and he swore to ruon Bandai's sucsesse so they made fake tamagotchi. <_<

And yes JD did make the Hello Kitty toys, but actually Bandai was the first tama company, JD was just one of the many companies who made virtual pets. ^^

I think you really should so some more "research" and get your facts straight.

If you go into the shops in Chinatown you can find may unathorized copies (fakes) of Hello Kitty products. Most likely JD was making fake Hello Kitty products. For example: JD hello kitty tamagotchi. Notice the toy looks like Hello Kitty, but it's named "HELIO KLTTY". Also, here they use "tamagotchi" as a generic term for "virtual pet".

I'm confused now. @.@ Isn't that Hello Kitty virtual pet where you have to have to make Hello Kitty fatter or skinnier made by JD or is that also Sanrio? I see too many of those virtual pets on e-bay and some tamagotchi sites I have seen, say they are real. o-o

I accidently bought a fake tama from JD off ebay >.<

It was a piece of junk. Stopped working correctly after a days use.
