The logout password for v4 won't work

I went on the tamatown v4 website and entered the password and al that, then pressed button C and went to YES. Are you supposed to do that or just leave it until you logout??

 
you have to leave the screen with the login password alone, or else the tama will mess up. When you finish your visit to tamatown, then press the LOGOUT button on the screen and after the password appears on the screen, then press B on your tama. Then enter the logout password.

 
were do you enter it i just write um down because i dont no were to type um or how to type um
