Be careful when buying on eBay even if the picture is of a REAL tama.. Once I bought a Tamagotchi on eBay and they had a photo of a REAL v1 but they sent me a fake one that didn't even have the BanDai logo and it stayed a baby it's WHOLE life! :eek: ^_^

If you ever are sent something is not how it is pictured in the lot you can report it to ebay. I'd link you to the exact place to do it but I'm not sure I remember where. Try under the security center first.

A few years ago is probably too late for that but this is just good information for any ebay-er

 
Someone sent me a fake tamagotchi and they said it was real. I got them kicked off eBay ^.^

 
And this is why I'll never buy a Tama of the internet. :p

That's why you always have to be careful when buying things off of eBay. Know your risks. And your limits. And you should have given that eBayer negative feedback.
