is it possible to debug a v4 yet? or can you just do it the same way as the v3s because my friend wanted to debug her v4 can someone post instructons please??

I think you should stop your friend, debugging Tamagotchi can sometimes break it forever. I think there's a way.

 
debugging a V4 puts it into hyperspeed all the time.

pressing C wont stop hyperspeed because C zooms in on the tamagotchi.
