Back when they first came out they were banned from my elementry school 
Not enough people bring 'em now days though, so my highschool hasn't banned them yet. 'Course, I doubt they want them there anyways. Kinda like mp3 players though... we'll bring 'em anyway.

Never banned at my school hehe.... stuped teachers 
they just never new what that beeping noise was lol
