One of the great things about TamaTalk is that we meet some really nice people who share a common love of tamas. Sometimes we just want to talk with our new friends about other things that are not tamagotchi related... Video games, school, life, music, new favorite shows, favorite links and on and on... This is one of the great things about a community such as TamaTalk and is also the reason why (Non)TamaTalk is one of the most popular forums on the site. The admins and Guides have been talking about this and we realize that it can be really difficult to find topics in a forum that has heaps of new topics every month. Solution?

Today we are opening the doors to new subforums in (Non)TamaTalk that help to put these discussions into categories to make things easier to find. These new subforums (and a taste of what goes in there) are:

Stuff We Play talk about gaming, sports and other stuff
Stuff We Read for books, magazines, blogs, etc.
Stuff We Watch TV, movies, online videos
Stuff We Listen To music forum!
Seriously (Non)TamaTalk mature and focused discussion about things NOT Tamagotchi related
(Non)TamaTalk for everything else

We think these categories are broad enough to help us all find things we want to talk about and make it easier to discover new things from others with the same interests. Hopefully you find it useful too!

We will begin moving some topics into the new areas in the coming days/weeks. Please stop on over in the (Non)TamaTalk area and check it out. Let us know if you have any comments or suggestions!

When I went into there today, I thought something had gotten messed up because I thought seriously tamagotchi was in the non tamatalk section. But, then I read throught the sub-forums list, and came here, so I realized everything was good.

I think it's a nice change for some members, but if you'd like my honest opinion, I don't really like it. I used to just browse through pages until I found something I wanted to read but now it's a bit more difficult than that.

But majority rules and I appreciate the effort!

That is very helpful ^.^ Before, I had a hard time finding a topic about music, Tv, etc. This should make using (Non)TamaTalk easier. I agree with Rey, we should have a self-help part for friend problems and so on.
