I didn't see the movie. From what I've heard, it wasn't much like the book and it wasn't very good.

I read the book for the first time when I was in fourth grade, and then I think I read Eldest once last year. I've only read Eldest once, I think I've read Eragon three times. I can't wait for the last book!

To my surprise it was very good- not some flippity, 'happy happy' dragon book I was expecting.

The movie was almost not worth watching if you read the books though.
