I am in the middle of reading it. It's a class book that I'm reading with my group. We just got passed the part where Leslie dies. Don't tell me what happens.
I have started to read Bridge to Teribithia....though I didn't get to the part where Leslie dies. I would have never expected that, wow! Now I have questions going through my mind rattling deep inside.

Oh, yeah. I've read it about 3 times. It is really sad. :( When Leslie dies it's like...waaahhh! My tama just died, too. I'm naming my new one Lesly in memory of Leslie.

i am in the middle of the book where leslie and jess put up pictures in her new house. why did she die? how did she die?
Read the book yourself and find out! Sorry the end was ruined for you. The way she dies, at least, will be discovered by you.

She dies because the vine to get into Terabithia broke as she was swinging on it and she hit her head on a rock and drowned. (I just finished reading the book.)

Honestly, I didn't like the book. It is kind of boring, and no offence to people who liked it. The movies looks alright, but two years ago the book did not apeal to me.

I read it, but honestly....I didn't find it overly good.

The movie was good, because the world was actually 'magical'.

In the book, it was just a little world they made up and made a castle out of cardboard.

And they pretended to fight monsters.

The words were confusing, it was boring, and who would actually say thosw types of things that they say in the book? <.<

I read that book about 4 years ago, I enjoyed the book, But I never seen the movie, so I couldn't tell you much about the book even if I tried.

Yeah, I'm reading it as a class project. We're doing book groups now. :furawatchi:

I'm after the part where she dies, but I've still got a chapter to go. I've loved it so far. It's very sad when Leslie dies...

I don't think the movie will be better than the book. It wouldn't really make as much sense if the world was actually magical, and she just died swinging over... It sounds kinda... pathetic. I like the book a whole lot more. No offence to anybody.
