:D i woke up this morning and when i got my tama the battery was dead i was sooooo upset!!!! :huh: :o ;) i was on the second generation aswell. Please could you tell me is their anyway i can recharge my batteries. I know they are not rechargeable but has anything worked for you? :huh: plz help

Never try to charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Modern Tamagotchi models (those made in the past several years, including V1, V2, V3 & V4) have a data retention feature. When you insert the new battery, press the Reset button on the back then select Download from the Download / Reset menu on the screen. You will get your previous Tamagotchi character back, with all its Gotchi points, meals & snacks, souvenirs, items, friends list, etc.

It's best to have spare new battery on hand.

Where I live the batteries aren't that much, you should just buy some more batteries.

buy new batteries but dont worry as soon as you put the batteries in you can continue with your old tama
