ok, so my v2 was acting strange and all. first the screen went completly blank, no shaded pixels ect., with 2 lines on it.on the top line 1 pixel was missing. o_o then it needed batteries after a while, but me being lazy just pushed reset then download. then it got to a pont when it needed to be reset every couple minutes s then i changed batteries. today when i was trying to get my v2 and v4 married and in love ect. then i checked the smiley faces on both of them. since i had been trying to get them in love before the lines on the screen, the mate was already there. but the name was like japanese letters or some type of giberish! then a few friends later the mate was there again with the proper name and they had 2 faces. the japanese name one had 4 faces. then on my v4 the mate had 4 faces...o_o

has this happpend exctly the same way to anyone else before?? or am i lucky/unlucky???

Yes, that has happened to me before, did you get water in it? Or try to de-bugg it? Its not a good sign, try reset download and if that doesn't work I can't help you.

 
that's strange. i had something similar, but with just the friend thing. i tried connecting with my tama and my cousin's tama and my cousin's megatchi (i think, that weird penguin showing it's teeth) came up twice on my version 3's friend list but the one megatchi had an M (my cousin's tamagotchi's name was missy) and then a bunch of jibberish and lines.

The only thing i can think of is reset then download,or change the batteries again,hope i helped :eek: ,Btw sounds pretty cool. :D

i want the glitch to stay though... no, no piccy though... i am way to scard totry debugging and im sure i didnt get water in it...

exact same with me but thee is no recognizble letters...

 
You could contact Bandai and see if they would be willing to fix it.

 
i have to agree with kyogreV2 but, i would try fixing it my self first.....
