I'm at my 3rd year and my sis, I can't trigger my rival events, WHY?

Uhggg, all the boys have the blue heart on me, except for rick and kai, I'm married with Gray, How can I get them to marry, no rival events is equals to no marry events..WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Help me please.

oh, well, I have that game. uh, I know on another, you need a blue feather. I got it maybe 5 months ago so... I am just guessing
