wrong connection?

you see,i have a v3 and a v4 and whenever i connect my v3 to my v4 the character i have looks totally different . for example,lets say i have obotchi as a child when i connect it comes out a different character the character is nazotchi and its always that same tama.then when my tama goes back to his toy it looks as the character it always did obotchi for example.okay now lets say obotchi transformed into nikatchi now when i connect he looks like nikatchi like hes supposed to. i had nazotchi once as a adult but then i reset my tama.maybe it stayed in its memory???? anyways my v4 is fine its my v3 with problems.is tis a glitch??????please respond asap.

Don't worry. It's normal. When you connect a tama of different versions, and if the caracter is not available on the tama it's coming on, it will end up as a Nazotchi.
