What it Means: Tama.-Tamagotchi Tamas.-Tamagotchis ~ - Button Gen.-Generation GP- Gotchi Points

Health Meter (v3 and v4)
Here you can see the Level of your pet’s *Hunger and Happiness, **Level of Training, ***Skill Points, ****Age and Weight and Name, *****Gender and Generation, ******Gotchi Points, *******and your Username, press A~ to see every page.
*You can Increase the level of your Tamagotchi’s hunger by giving it meals and snacks for increasing the level of its happiness, you also play games to increase its happiness(The more the better.)
**To increase the level of training of your pet is to discipline it (The more the better.) (Look at the Discipline instruction all away down.)
***Your Tamagotchi have three skill point which influence your tamagotchi’s life path, the Pencil Icon (Intellectual), The Star Icon (Arts), and The Flower Icon (Social).The teacher in Pre-school will give random skill points for your tama. Picking a teacher in school will also increase your Tamagotchi’s skill points Mr. Turtle(Intellectual), Ms. Flower(Arts),and Mr. Canvas(Social)(See Work in Connection and Communication below to see how to choose a teacher.) Playing games can increase the skill points----Jumping Rope and Mimic (Random), Shape (Intellectual), Dance (Arts), Flag (Social) (The more the better.)
@Jumping Rope-Press any button to jump. (Tip is to jump when the rope is in the middle or under the middle of the front of your tamagotchi.)
@Mimic- Press any button to copy what the other tamagotchi did, (Tip is to wait and memories the pattern of the other tama., your tama. will only copy the pattern, when you had memories it, you already know what’s next so click the button to win the game!)
@Shape- Press B~ to choose a shape and press A~ the hit to the left and C~ to hit to the right. (Tip is to memories the shapes accordingly to its order, when you had memories it just click B~ faster to choose.)
@Dance- Press the button on what the black showed up the three circles. (Tip is to concentrate only, remember the game only lets you press A~, B~, C~, and A & C~.)
@Flag- Press A and C~ on what the flag is raised up. (Tips is to concentrate, to avoid pressing A or C~ on an imitation flag, you can see that the imitation flag see small and hear only a peep sound.)
****Its Age will increase every day from the time your tama. hatched. Its weight will in increase when you let it eat meal or snacks. Name of the tama. will be named by you after it hatched. (You can only your pet with a maximum of 5 letters.)
Growth- Your tama. will grow as its age goes up , but will freeze if paused or went to Tamatown.
Decrease weight- Decrease your pet’s weight by playing games.
*****Gender will show what gender your Tamagotchi is. (Some said that you can choose a boy or a girl in your 1st generation by pressing A~ three times when your tama. is going to hatch then press A~ for girl and B~ for boy. For the 2nd and up generation, when the matchmaker shows up press A~ for girl and B~ for boy.) Generation is where you can see what gen. is your tama., when your tam. Is 2nd gen. it can visit its parent at Tamatown, and when your tama. is 3rd and up you can visit its grandparent.
Passed away- When your tama. passed away just hold A~ and C~ until an egg comes out, it will be your next gen., but you can never visit your passed tama. in Tamatown , you can only see it at your history in the History of the Family in the Friend List.

#Claw Game- Pick the gold you want by pressing the button down the screen, you need to let the claw exactly above the GP. (Tip concentrate, pick the gold bag, it contains 300 GP, if no gold or yellow bag…no choice getting the Grey bag containing 100GP.)
#Ring Ross- Click the button down the screen to throw the ring into the prize, Gift (Snacks randomly), Gold (Grey 100 GP, Yellow 300 GP.). (Tip click the button in the gift or gold before the thing you want to get, this is the game where you can easily earn money.)
#Tama Soccer- Choose your favorite character first, then when the game starts an arrow will show at the right of the tama. you chose, click the tama. when you want to, there will be an underline moving up then down then up then etc. best if the underline is above the arrow.(My tip for this is only concentration.)
#Tama Says- Click what Mametchi clicked or did.(Tip memories what Mametchi did!)
#Happy Packing- The Bag will say the clue while you think the answer, when you now know the answer, click the item and drag it to Mr. Bag. (Tip……MIND!!!)
#Race Game- Just click the right and left arrow in your keyboard alternatively, the faster you click, the faster your car moves.(Tip speed up!! But sometimes when you click left and right arrow fast, your car will not move.)
#Create a Gotchi Song- Just make the song sound wonderful, there are two tracks here. When you exit in Create a Gotchi Song you’ll earn 100 GP, even if you didn’t play any music!( Tip just have fun!!!)
#Clean Up- Click the button down the screen fast to win the game.(Tip stop pressing the button when a water is in front of you, you might get slip!) Prize(If 1st place) 100GP.

(Tip is to click the button when the arrow is to the highest it can get and press it again before the blue reach below the arrow’s bottom fat point, you know the flat line.)
#Tama Tennis- Press the arrow keys in the keyboard to move and spacebar to hit the ball. (Tip is to let your opponent hit the ball near the outside by hitting the ball near the ouside, so if your opponent hits it, it will be hit to the outside.)

Food (v3 and v4)
Like I said above, you can Increase the level of your Tamagotchi’s hunger by giving it meals and snacks for increasing the level of its happiness. Choose meal or snack by pressing A~ and B~ to enter. Meal will add 1lb on your tama.’s weight and 2lb for snacks…snack will only add 1lb if your tama.’s weight if your tama. had a tooth ache, but will return into 2lb after few or more hours.(Reminder buying snacks from your shop can be another reason you have a ball glitch.).When you bought a snack and a meal in the shop, if eaten by your pet, it will be disappear, your first four meal and snack are unlimited, if one to four are missing, you have a serious problem or a ball glitch. Game-As your Tamagotchi grows through each stage of life, the number of games to play will increase to five games for v4 and six for v3. A~ to choose and B~ to enter. See games above and below, if found @ before any words, that means that it’s a game in your Tama. if you see a # it’s a game in Tamatown.
Items- You can buy items from your own shop, other items can be get buy going to Tamatown and getting the item’s password, some password must be looked somewhere in online, and some by codes. Some items can only be used by adults. A~ to choose and B~ to enter.
Shop- Here you can buy items and foods, you need GP to buy what you want. Press A~ three times and when the shop owner face turned surprised press your secret code, A~ left B~ middle C~ right. Here are all of the codes for v3 and v4. If you type the same code twice the item will now have a price (I don’t know about v3 if this will happen.)Do you need a shop list? Work- When clicked, your tama. will go outside, depending on your character’s stage of life, it can attend pre-school, school, and work here. When you’ve receive a [!] message and when your Tamagotchi is at the age of 0-2 yrs. that means that it have been enrolled to the Pre-school, the teacher will give you a backpack. When your tama. has the right age to be at School (2-5 yrs.), a [!] message will be sent to you, once you look at it, you will see your teacher talking to your tama. and when she’s finished talking, you’re tama. will cry because your teacher will never be your tama.’s teacher anymore. Once your tama. returned, a [!] message will be putted in your mailbox(If you never received a [!] message, that means there’s a problem or a glitch.) and once clicked, your tama. will go to the school and Mr. Turtle will come, if you don’t want him to be your teacher, quickly press A~ when he stopped walking, Ms. Flower will come next, if you still don’t want her to be your teacher, quickly press A~ again when she stopped walking, and Mr. Canvas will show. Just do this to choose your teacher and press A~ if you finally found the teacher you want. When your tama. has the right age to have a job (In just 1 to 3 days you’ll have a job), a [!] message will be sent to you, once you look at it, you will see your teacher talking to your tama. and when he’s or she’s finished talking, you’re tama. will cry because your teacher will never be your tama.’s teacher anymore. Once your tama. returned, a [!] message will be putted in your mailbox(If you never received a [!] message, that means there’s a problem or a glitch.) and once clicked, you will see a building above you tama. Just press A~ to choose and B~ to enter, when the three picture opened and said o o o, that means you’re qualified for the job, but if it shows o x o, x x o, o x x, x o x, or x x x, that means your not qualified for the job (Meaning you have low skill points, I think you should have 50 int. 150 art 50 soc., 150 int. 50 art 50 soc., or 50 int. 50 art 150 soc. to be qualify on the job you choose.) If you failed the interview you can get a [!] message next time, please remember that your skill points affect your job offer. The Salary you get on your job is depending on how you work on your job, too little work equals to low salary, increase your normal salary by earning another 80 skill points. Game in Pre-school: You’ll do nothing here, you’ll just watch your pet dancing with the teacher. Random skill increase.
Game in School: Your teacher will show you a skill point (Depending on the teacher you choose.) put it in the box and you have to guess which box is the skill point is, two are poops. (Tip, the skill point always starts in the right, two box will blink two times for four times, when the right and the middle blink that means the skill point is now at the middle, the left and right blink that means the skill point didn’t move, the middle and left blink that means the skill point is now at the left, the middle and the right blink that means the skill point didn’t move. Where do you think the skill point is? If you said left and your right1! A~ to choose and B~ to enter.
Job: Ughhhh, I don’t how to play all of them, here are some of them, I think…
@This game is similar to GET in the v3. Catch the hearts and AVOID the skulls and maybe poop. If you've never had a v3 and forgot how to play get press A and C to move around
@Like the hospital game this is similar to GET from v3.Catch the money and avoid the poops.
@This game is NOT similar to any past games in the past versions. In this game at the top of the screen it should have something like a art point icon next to a multiplication sign and a number. You have to press A to select(let's say it says times 8 APS) 8 art points or whatever before time runs out. Press C to get a different selection of point icons and continue your search for the certain point.
@You control the bus by holding A or C. Avoid the flowers and hold the buttons to avoid these at ALL costs. You have 3 or 4 attempts to drive the thing. If your not holding any button you are going straight. B doesn't do anything so don't touch it.
PC- Use this if you want to connect to Tamatown then use this icon it will give you random passwords, your tama. will be paused until you clicked A~ to write the logout password, for safe logout don’t press anything while your at Tamatown. Press A~ to write your logout password, if have wrong number or letter and you’ve already pressed A~, just press C~ to return to the number or letter you’ve make a mistake, writing the logout password will automatically put the money you’ve earned in Tamatown to your GP. Remember to write in a paper the password of the items you’ve received at Tamatown and put it in the Password to buy or get it.
V4 Connection- Connect with other v4 devices using the IR Sensor. You and the one that you are now connecting can get marry by playing, giving gift, or visit it, what I mean is to connect always to the person’s tama. you want to marry, to married easily without using this tip, just use the honey (Or should I say LOVE POTION.).When you are gonna connect with other v4 you have to choose what to do with the other tama.: Game, Present, and Visit, Pick you want to do. Sometimes when you give present, your tama. give poop, so discipline it by pressing Time Out to earn another one training bar piece. Sometimes one tamagotchi will connect and the other one will fail. To connect using IR Sensor, face your tama.’s Red Thing above your tama. to the other tama. to connect.

Discipline (v3 and v4)
Using Time Out or Praise at the right time will increase your tamagotchi’s training bar by one. Use Time Out when your Tamagotchi gives the other tama. (If connected.) poop, when he begs for food even if your tama.’s hungry is full, and if it refuse to eat even when it’s hungry. Use Praise when your Tamagotchi is crying.
Medicine (v3 and v4)
When a skull or tooth icon appears above your tamagotchi, that is when you use the medicine icon, just click the medicine icon until the tooth or skull icon disappear. When you let the skull icon stay too long at your tama., it will pass away. I read this tip some where that said you can avoid your tamagotchi’s (Passing away time) by when you see your Tamagotchi lying down the screen press the reset button quickly and then press B~ and choose download to avoid the (Passing away time.)
Post (only v4)
When the Tama Postman delivers a new message to you, the Post Icon will begin flashing, A~ to choose and B~ to enter. You may receive any of these three types of messages: Fortune Cookie (Star Icon), Letter (Envelope Icon), and Important Info ([!]).
Fortune Cookie- This message delivers either good or bad fortune to your Tamagotchi’s adventure or life. Don’t press anything while looking here, it will automatically move from the money icon to the strong man icon. If you obtain three stars at the left of the picture of the money that means that you may receive a special letter from the King, rarely visited by the Robber, and earn 500 GP (sometimes) when winning a whole game, when you’ve receive two that means that you’ll be rob in a normal time (Hehehe) and normal winning gotchi points (400 GP), if one star you’ll be rob like always, OMG!! Get three stars in the left of the heart, your friendship level may increase with your next connection to another toy (Good for the once you want to marry without using any Honey or should I say LOVE POTION.) If you received two that means normal, if one….. don’t believe me if you don’t want to believe me, I think you should never connect with other Tamagotchi and wait for the one star to be two, or three. The last icon is the strong man, if you’ve receive three stars, that means that you’ll get sick (Skull Icon) very rarely. If two normal time of sickness, but if one, almost always your tamagotchi will get sick. Remember, leave the skull icon or sickness then leave your tamagotchi to pass away, so remember be alert for the sickness of your tamagotchi if you want him or her to live.
Letter (Envelope)- Letters may contain good or bad news. They are also affected by your fortune cookie. I always get angry when my tama. receive poop or snake!!! Don’t discipline your tama. by time out, he’s or she’s not sending any poops, he’s or she’s the one who got the poop! (Disciplining your tama. with praise will not raise your training bar, in fact it will do nothing when your tama. receive a poop or a snake in your letter.)

Lights (The lamp icon) (only v3)
Use this if you see your Tamagotchi sleeping in a bed (More look like a bed of a baby) (To know when your tama. is sleeping is by seeing a Z above it). But you saw a skull icon and/or a poop icon(s) while your tama. is in a bed, clean up those poop(s) and cure that skull, for you to not have any problem while turning off the light. A~ to choose and B~ to enter.
Friend List (v3 and v4) (A~ to choose and B~ to enter)
Friends- Press B~ to select Friend, and press B~ again to see the level of your friendship. If you attempt to connect with more than 50 friends, SORRY! LIST FULL, will appear, if you wish to add more, you must delete one of your friends. Press A~ to scroll to your friends and press B~ to select a friend to delete. Presents- Before you can send presents to your friends, must wrap it. To wrap, first go the present in the Friend List, choose where you want to go: Food and Item, A~ to choose and B~ to enter, then press B~ on what food or item you want to wrap, then select wrap by pressing B~ (There are two selection here after you press B~ on what food or item you want: Wrap and Trash.) Just Do the same procedures and select Trash if you want to trash the food or item. If you want to unwrap it just do the procedure again and you’ll see the word wrap turned into unwrap.
Points- This is where you can see and donate money to the King, to get the Royal Items in Tamatown. When you donated GP to The King in the number of GP, he will tell you to visit Tamatown and go The King and receive his gift to you. Exact GP to be given to the King for a gift for v3 are: 5,000 GP, 12,000 GP, and last 30,000 GP. Exact GP to be given to the King for a gift for v4 are: 20,000 GP, 70,000 GP, and 200,000 GP.

Family- View your Family Heritage. Press B~ to select the History Icon to view your previous Tamas. or Tama. that are or is no longer under your care (Passed Away),if have, and press B~ to see its info and again until it retuned into its name. Select the Parent Icon to view you Parent(s) and Grandparent(s),if have, , and press B~ to see its info and again until it retuned into its name. I heard this some where, if you see your tama. is 2nd and you looked at your parent and you see your parent and when you pressed A~ again you will see a copy of your parent, it’s a glitch, just wait until your tama. is now the 3rd and your Parent icon will align in order normally again. You can’t go in this two if your tama. is not the 2nd or 3rd gen.

Matchmaker- If your Tamagotchi grows old and hasn’t found a partner, the Matchmaker may appear to you if your tama is in the age of 5 and up, she will suggest a partner to you. Just press any button once she has appear (Want a boy or a girl? Just go way up and search.) and once she show you a potential partner, you will be asked if you want to marry him or her by pressing A~ to choose between YES or NO and B~ to enter. If you choose No, they will go away, but the matchmaker will come again later. And once you pressed Yes, fire works will appear and you’ll have baby. You’ll take care for it about 1 to 2 and a half days. Your Parent tama. will live later, and once she lives, you’ll see the baby tama. is crying alone, you’ll be ask by a name for you next gen. tama. (If your Tamagotchi married a ghost, that means your tama. married a Dorotchi, and if you were surprised when your tama. screen turned black, that means the fire works.)
Matchmaker come at this times: Set the time if you don’t want to wait:

Passed Away- When you’re tama. pass away, you’ll never get it back, just hold A and C~ until you saw an egg, this will be your next gen. tama., your passed tama. will go to the history, but if you had reset it all your passed tama. will never go to the history. To reset your tama. just press something that fits in the back of your tama., pressing it too hard will cause your tama. to be broken.
Set up the Time- To set up the set, you need to press B~ while at the main screen. To change the time, press and hold A and C~ together until the date begins to flash, use A~ to scroll and B~ to choose or set.
Sound on/off- Press and hold A and C~ together, select sound ON or OFF.
Pause Mode- Press and hold A and B~ together and you’ll see a PAUSE sign below your Tamagotchi. Your Clock will continue to run, but your Tama.’s growth will stop until taken out of the pause. Press and hold A and B~ together and you’ll see the PAUSE sign below your Tamagotchi disappear.

Here you can see the Level of your pet’s *Hunger and Happiness, **Level of Training, ***Skill Points, ****Age and Weight and Name, *****Gender and Generation, ******Gotchi Points, *******and your Username, press A~ to see every page.
*You can Increase the level of your Tamagotchi’s hunger by giving it meals and snacks for increasing the level of its happiness, you also play games to increase its happiness(The more the better.)
**To increase the level of training of your pet is to discipline it (The more the better.) (Look at the Discipline instruction all away down.)
***Your Tamagotchi have three skill point which influence your tamagotchi’s life path, the Pencil Icon (Intellectual), The Star Icon (Arts), and The Flower Icon (Social).The teacher in Pre-school will give random skill points for your tama. Picking a teacher in school will also increase your Tamagotchi’s skill points Mr. Turtle(Intellectual), Ms. Flower(Arts),and Mr. Canvas(Social)(See Work in Connection and Communication below to see how to choose a teacher.) Playing games can increase the skill points----Jumping Rope and Mimic (Random), Shape (Intellectual), Dance (Arts), Flag (Social) (The more the better.)
@Jumping Rope-Press any button to jump. (Tip is to jump when the rope is in the middle or under the middle of the front of your tamagotchi.)
@Mimic- Press any button to copy what the other tamagotchi did, (Tip is to wait and memories the pattern of the other tama., your tama. will only copy the pattern, when you had memories it, you already know what’s next so click the button to win the game!)
@Shape- Press B~ to choose a shape and press A~ the hit to the left and C~ to hit to the right. (Tip is to memories the shapes accordingly to its order, when you had memories it just click B~ faster to choose.)
@Dance- Press the button on what the black showed up the three circles. (Tip is to concentrate only, remember the game only lets you press A~, B~, C~, and A & C~.)
@Flag- Press A and C~ on what the flag is raised up. (Tips is to concentrate, to avoid pressing A or C~ on an imitation flag, you can see that the imitation flag see small and hear only a peep sound.)
****Its Age will increase every day from the time your tama. hatched. Its weight will in increase when you let it eat meal or snacks. Name of the tama. will be named by you after it hatched. (You can only your pet with a maximum of 5 letters.)
Growth- Your tama. will grow as its age goes up , but will freeze if paused or went to Tamatown.
Decrease weight- Decrease your pet’s weight by playing games.
*****Gender will show what gender your Tamagotchi is. (Some said that you can choose a boy or a girl in your 1st generation by pressing A~ three times when your tama. is going to hatch then press A~ for girl and B~ for boy. For the 2nd and up generation, when the matchmaker shows up press A~ for girl and B~ for boy.) Generation is where you can see what gen. is your tama., when your tam. Is 2nd gen. it can visit its parent at Tamatown, and when your tama. is 3rd and up you can visit its grandparent.
Passed away- When your tama. passed away just hold A~ and C~ until an egg comes out, it will be your next gen., but you can never visit your passed tama. in Tamatown , you can only see it at your history in the History of the Family in the Friend List.

Work- When clicked, your tama. will go outside, depending on your character’s stage of life, it can attend pre-school, school, and work here. When you’ve receive a [!] message and when your Tamagotchi is at the age of 0-2 yrs. that means that it have been enrolled to the Pre-school, the teacher will give you a backpack. When your tama. has the right age to be at School (2-5 yrs.), a [!] message will be sent to you, once you look at it, you will see your teacher talking to your tama. and when she’s finished talking, you’re tama. will cry because your teacher will never be your tama.’s teacher anymore. Once your tama. returned, a [!] message will be putted in your mailbox(If you never received a [!] message, that means there’s a problem or a glitch.) and once clicked, your tama. will go to the school and Mr. Turtle will come, if you don’t want him to be your teacher, quickly press A~ when he stopped walking, Ms. Flower will come next, if you still don’t want her to be your teacher, quickly press A~ again when she stopped walking, and Mr. Canvas will show. Just do this to choose your teacher and press A~ if you finally found the teacher you want. Game in School: Your teacher will show you a skill point (Depending on the teacher you choose.) put it in the box and you have to guess which box is the skill point is, two are poops. (Tip, the skill point always starts in the right, two box will blink two times for four times, when the right and the middle blink that means the skill point is now at the middle, the left and right blink that means the skill point didn’t move, the middle and left blink that means the skill point is now at the left, the middle and the right blink that means the skill point didn’t move. Where do you think the skill point is? If you said left and your right1! A~ to choose and B~ to enter.
Job: Ughhhh, I don’t how to play all of them, here are some of them, I think…
@This game is similar to GET in the v3. Catch the hearts and AVOID the skulls and maybe poop. If you've never had a v3 and forgot how to play get press A and C to move around
@Like the hospital game this is similar to GET from v3.Catch the money and avoid the poops.
@This game is NOT similar to any past games in the past versions. In this game at the top of the screen it should have something like a art point icon next to a multiplication sign and a number. You have to press A to select(let's say it says times 8 APS) 8 art points or whatever before time runs out. Press C to get a different selection of point icons and continue your search for the certain point.
@You control the bus by holding A or C. Avoid the flowers and hold the buttons to avoid these at ALL costs. You have 3 or 4 attempts to drive the thing. If your not holding any button you are going straight. B doesn't do anything so don't touch it.
PC- Use this if you want to connect to Tamatown then use this icon it will give you random passwords, your tama. will be paused until you clicked A~ to write the logout password, for safe logout don’t press anything while your at Tamatown. Press A~ to write your logout password, if have wrong number or letter and you’ve already pressed A~, just press C~ to return to the number or letter you’ve make a mistake, writing the logout password will automatically put the money you’ve earned in Tamatown to your GP. Remember to write in a paper the password of the items you’ve received at Tamatown and put it in the Password to buy or get it.
V4 Connection- Connect with other v4 devices using the IR Sensor. You and the one that you are now connecting can get marry by playing, giving gift, or visit it, what I mean is to connect always to the person’s tama. you want to marry, to married easily without using this tip, just use the honey (Or should I say LOVE POTION.).When you are gonna connect with other v4 you have to choose what to do with the other tama.: Game, Present, and Visit, Pick you want to do. Sometimes when you give present, your tama. give poop, so discipline it by pressing Time Out to earn another one training bar piece. Sometimes one tamagotchi will connect and the other one will fail. To connect using IR Sensor, face your tama.’s Red Thing above your tama. to the other tama. to connect.

Connection and Communication (v3 only.)(A~ to choose and B~ to enter.)
V3 Connection- Connect with other v3 devices using the IR Sensor. You and the one that you are now connecting can get marry by playing, giving gift, or visit it, what I mean is to connect always to the person’s tama. you want to marry, to married easily without using this tip, just use the honey (Or should I say LOVE POTION.).When you are gonna connect with other v3 you have to choose what to do with the other tama.: Game, Present, and Visit, Pick you want to do. Sometimes when you give present, your tama. give poop, so discipline it by pressing Time Out to earn another one training bar piece. Sometimes one tamagotchi will connect and the other one will fail. To connect using IR Sensor, face your tama.’s Red Thing (above your tama.) to the other Red Thing of the tama. to connect.

Discipline (v3 and v4)
Using Time Out or Praise at the right time will increase your tamagotchi’s training bar by one. Use Time Out when your Tamagotchi gives the other tama. (If connected.) poop, when he begs for food even if your tama.’s hungry is full, and if it refuse to eat even when it’s hungry. Use Praise when your Tamagotchi is crying.
Medicine (v3 and v4)
When a skull or tooth icon appears above your tamagotchi, that is when you use the medicine icon, just click the medicine icon until the tooth or skull icon disappear. When you let the skull icon stay too long at your tama., it will pass away. I read this tip some where that said you can avoid your tamagotchi’s (Passing away time) by when you see your Tamagotchi lying down the screen press the reset button quickly and then press B~ and choose download to avoid the (Passing away time.)
Post (only v4)
When the Tama Postman delivers a new message to you, the Post Icon will begin flashing, A~ to choose and B~ to enter. You may receive any of these three types of messages: Fortune Cookie (Star Icon), Letter (Envelope Icon), and Important Info ([!]).
Fortune Cookie- This message delivers either good or bad fortune to your Tamagotchi’s adventure or life. Don’t press anything while looking here, it will automatically move from the money icon to the strong man icon. If you obtain three stars at the left of the picture of the money that means that you may receive a special letter from the King, rarely visited by the Robber, and earn 500 GP (sometimes) when winning a whole game, when you’ve receive two that means that you’ll be rob in a normal time (Hehehe) and normal winning gotchi points (400 GP), if one star you’ll be rob like always, OMG!! Get three stars in the left of the heart, your friendship level may increase with your next connection to another toy (Good for the once you want to marry without using any Honey or should I say LOVE POTION.) If you received two that means normal, if one….. don’t believe me if you don’t want to believe me, I think you should never connect with other Tamagotchi and wait for the one star to be two, or three. The last icon is the strong man, if you’ve receive three stars, that means that you’ll get sick (Skull Icon) very rarely. If two normal time of sickness, but if one, almost always your tamagotchi will get sick. Remember, leave the skull icon or sickness then leave your tamagotchi to pass away, so remember be alert for the sickness of your tamagotchi if you want him or her to live.
Letter (Envelope)- Letters may contain good or bad news. They are also affected by your fortune cookie. I always get angry when my tama. receive poop or snake!!! Don’t discipline your tama. by time out, he’s or she’s not sending any poops, he’s or she’s the one who got the poop! (Disciplining your tama. with praise will not raise your training bar, in fact it will do nothing when your tama. receive a poop or a snake in your letter.)

Lights (The lamp icon) (only v3)
Use this if you see your Tamagotchi sleeping in a bed (More look like a bed of a baby) (To know when your tama. is sleeping is by seeing a Z above it). But you saw a skull icon and/or a poop icon(s) while your tama. is in a bed, clean up those poop(s) and cure that skull, for you to not have any problem while turning off the light. A~ to choose and B~ to enter.
Friend List (v3 and v4) (A~ to choose and B~ to enter)
Friends- Press B~ to select Friend, and press B~ again to see the level of your friendship. If you attempt to connect with more than 50 friends, SORRY! LIST FULL, will appear, if you wish to add more, you must delete one of your friends. Press A~ to scroll to your friends and press B~ to select a friend to delete. Confirm your selection by choosing YES. If you don’t have any friend(s) that means you can’t go into the Friend in the Friends List.

One Face- Acquaintance
Two Faces- Buddy
Three Faces- Friends
Four Faces- Good Friends
Two Hearts and Two Faces- Best Friend
Four Hearts- Partner
Presents- Before you can send presents to your friends, must wrap it. To wrap, first go the present in the Friend List, choose where you want to go: Food and Item, A~ to choose and B~ to enter, then press B~ on what food or item you want to wrap, then select wrap by pressing B~ (There are two selection here after you press B~ on what food or item you want: Wrap and Trash.) Just Do the same procedures and select Trash if you want to trash the food or item. If you want to unwrap it just do the procedure again and you’ll see the word wrap turned into unwrap.
Points- This is where you can see and donate money to the King, to get the Royal Items in Tamatown. When you donated GP to The King in the number of GP, he will tell you to visit Tamatown and go The King and receive his gift to you. Exact GP to be given to the King for a gift for v3 are: 5,000 GP, 12,000 GP, and last 30,000 GP. Exact GP to be given to the King for a gift for v4 are: 20,000 GP, 70,000 GP, and 200,000 GP.

Family- View your Family Heritage. Press B~ to select the History Icon to view your previous Tamas. or Tama. that are or is no longer under your care (Passed Away),if have, and press B~ to see its info and again until it retuned into its name. Select the Parent Icon to view you Parent(s) and Grandparent(s),if have, , and press B~ to see its info and again until it retuned into its name. I heard this some where, if you see your tama. is 2nd and you looked at your parent and you see your parent and when you pressed A~ again you will see a copy of your parent, it’s a glitch, just wait until your tama. is now the 3rd and your Parent icon will align in order normally again. You can’t go in this two if your tama. is not the 2nd or 3rd gen.

Matchmaker- If your Tamagotchi grows old and hasn’t found a partner, the Matchmaker may appear to you if your tama is in the age of 5 and up, she will suggest a partner to you. Just press any button once she has appear (Want a boy or a girl? Just go way up and search.) and once she show you a potential partner, you will be asked if you want to marry him or her by pressing A~ to choose between YES or NO and B~ to enter. If you choose No, they will go away, but the matchmaker will come again later. And once you pressed Yes, fire works will appear and you’ll have baby. You’ll take care for it about 1 to 2 and a half days. Your Parent tama. will live later, and once she lives, you’ll see the baby tama. is crying alone, you’ll be ask by a name for you next gen. tama. (If your Tamagotchi married a ghost, that means your tama. married a Dorotchi, and if you were surprised when your tama. screen turned black, that means the fire works.)
Matchmaker come at this times: Set the time if you don’t want to wait:

3:00pm 2:59pm wait 1 minute
7:00pm 6:59pm wait 1 minute
Passed Away- When you’re tama. pass away, you’ll never get it back, just hold A and C~ until you saw an egg, this will be your next gen. tama., your passed tama. will go to the history, but if you had reset it all your passed tama. will never go to the history. To reset your tama. just press something that fits in the back of your tama., pressing it too hard will cause your tama. to be broken.
Set up the Time- To set up the set, you need to press B~ while at the main screen. To change the time, press and hold A and C~ together until the date begins to flash, use A~ to scroll and B~ to choose or set.
Sound on/off- Press and hold A and C~ together, select sound ON or OFF.
Pause Mode- Press and hold A and B~ together and you’ll see a PAUSE sign below your Tamagotchi. Your Clock will continue to run, but your Tama.’s growth will stop until taken out of the pause. Press and hold A and B~ together and you’ll see the PAUSE sign below your Tamagotchi disappear.
