It's definately a fake. I don't think there's ever been a touch-screen tamagotchi (Unless you count the DS Videogames) that person is also selling a Version 4 Touch-Screen (which are also fake), so that boosts the likeliness of that one being fake.

Bandai has not yet announced a Connection V5.

The package for that item in the ebay auction does not say Bandai Tamagotchi on it. The company name on it is "TS".

 
fake, there is no such thing as a touch screen tamagotchi that actually works like a real tamagotchi that you would get like a target or kmart
