Odd emergency

Well I was earning points for my tama and I had about 6200 (thats not the points though) so I changed the time to I think 2:59 so that the store gets a restock and the matchmaker comes [my tamas 6]. I waited 1 minute then Star [my tama] made the 'attention beep' and the machmaker came. I clicked the B button [you know, the one in the middle] and she brought a VERY WIERD character. Actualy, its not even a character. It looked something like this:

So im like oh what the heck, must be some glitch lets see what he does. Then the 'Love? yes/no' screen popped up and I wanted a boy so I wanted to select 'yes' and this was the third time 'Machy' came. So I clicked the B button again and nothing happened! Suddenly the screen went blank. I got scared for my tama so I clicked all the buttons one by one once. When I clicked the C button 2 lines blinked on the screen something like this:

I clicked all the buttons again one by one once and this time nothing happened so I quickly unscrewed the back and took out the battery. I let my tama rest so I didnt touch it for some 15 min. Then I came back and put in the battery. I clicked the B button and selected download and my tama was all fine. The points were down to 0 though :'( I had 6200 before, and the time was 4:00 AM. I changed it to 2:59 and 'Machy' and I got another girl. Grrr...

So my point is..... CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED?????

Ok heres some stuff:

1] I havent gotten my tama wet at all

2] My tama has been near the computer and i read a topic here that said that your tama would 'act wierd' if you keep it very close to the comp. I put my tama on the table above the comp.

3] Glich? Never heard of one like this

Please reply if you have ANY idea of this odd problem.

Weird, weird, WEIRD! There are many stories of matchmaker problems, and this seems like most others. It's strange, and like most other glitches, no one knows what causes them. Since everyone with this problem has described it ALMOST identically, there is probably a common cause. Something got messed up in the programming, I suspect. But no one is quite sure.

Good, then im not the onlyone with this wierd glich. This is the first time this happened to me though. And the machmaker so far has brought normal adults. This happened like 15 min ago and Machy brought only one more tama. Ill haveto wait for my next generation to grow up to see if she brings a adult.

I have had that glitch 4 times on my V4 sunflower tam... I think that they rushed when they made V4s, to get them out for Christmas, and therefore, there are tons of glitches... dang annoying though! :furawatchi: :kuribotchi:

I believe this is a common glitch on the v4. That's what you have, right? V4s were a bit rushed to make it out for Christmas. If it's a chronic problem, write to Bandai and ask them to fix it for you. Someone else posted that Bandai offered to fix his or her tama or replace it.

And THEN the screen went blank, so I replaced the battery. I set the time to 2:59 and then my tamagotchi had a boy and everything was back to normal. As for the character your matchy brought out...my old timer lady turned into that after she ran out of batteries while paused! She was a V2 though...

It's sure good to know I'm not the only one with this glitch!

That is a common glitch although,i have never had it.And there was a topic that said it acts wierd if you keep it close to the comp? thats wierd.....
