Is my Pikachu virtual pet a fake?

The stripes on the back of mine are brown and it has a brown tip on the tail, it doesn't say 24 in one on the front, and you can't choose between 24 characters; it's only a dog. I got mine really cheap, and I threw out the packaging. I don't have a camera so i can't show you a pic, but does mine sound like a fake?

That looks fake to me too. The only Pikachu virtual pets I know about are Pocket Pikachu and Pocket Pikachu Color which were made by Nintendo in I think 98 to 00. I am not talking about the Pocket Pikachus! I have one of those; this is a different pet. I want to know which is real: mine or the ones on eBay. Mine looks different than these, and you can't choose between 24 different characters.

Thank you, Mothra! I think mine is definately a fake then. Mine is a dog, and it has only one game. I don't believe it takes baths either, but it's been awhile since I played it; the screen is so dark it's hard to see.
