i was wondering if World of warcraft can be only be played over the internet. Can it be played with just one player without internet? i know that Diablo the game can be played without the internet but diablo has gotten boring, so i want to get world of warcraft.

 
World of Warcraft cannot be played offline. There are other Warcraft games that precede WoW that you can play offline (some newer ones have online ability too) however the concept is not the same - you may enjoy it though, so it is worth reading up on.
