Has pokemon gotten too ugly..?

I think in diamond and pearl they have REALLY ugly pokemon..... Does anyone agree with me??? Cause I think they deicided to make them a little too ugly.... I mean- Look at Piplup's evolution- First, he's a cute little penguin pokemon, now he's an ugly giant ridiculous fat bird. So is that fire thing..... And I don't know why they had to make the boy look ugly too- I don't really like the hat... I think they should have STOPPED making pokemon games like that at Ruby and Sapphire.... Cause I like the past generations better- I think they only spend 10 cents to buy cheap ideas for the ugly gross ridiculous diamond and pearl characters.... While Yellow, Blue and Red had these really good pokemon that was worth it..... The only good diamond and pearl ones were Pachirisu, Lucario, Riolu and the three starter pokemon at their first evoultion. Otherwise, all the new ones suck. Does anybody agree with me??

well i agreee for some of them but some pokemon i like like gallade!

the little ones look cute but when they evolve they look but ugly!

i have pokem opn diamond and i have the fire monkey guy lvlo 76 and h had 9 babies but theres so cute and all boys no girls*sob*

I don't really think so. Some are cute, some are super ugly, but I think Game FReak did that for a reason.

Take Happiny and Buneary, for example. They stay cute through their whole evolution!

Riolu is cute, too, but it evolves into something more "tough-looking".

They probably do that so everyone likes Pokemon, no matter what gender the player is!

My favorite new Pokemon are:

Bronzor

Drifloon.

Problem with those 2 again is their evolutions. Bronzor's evolution is really ugly, bordering on scary!

Drifloon isn't much better.

I have an all Bronzor team led by a Shiny Bronzor. They all hold the stone that prevents evolution because of course, I want my team cute for ever.

I agree, Empoleon looks kinda lame. I definitely dropped all consideration for him as a starter when I saw him for the first time, despite how cute piplup is. I thought they did a pretty good job with the new pokes though. I like Spiritomb and Magnezone, and unlike a lot of people I like Nosepass's evolution.

I agree with most of the people here: there are cute new ones (I LOVE Cherrim. ^^v )

But I agree: can't they make the evolutions a bit more appealing? Like how Charmander is cute, but Charizard is cool too. But Turtwig is cute... and then it turns icky as Torterra...

Yes, many D/P pokemon in my opinion are ugly monsters never to see the light of day, yet some, are cute :3

I miss the original pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal. Those were second genoration and they had the cutest ones! Then in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald they got uglier and uglier. I don't have Diamond/Pearl yet.

I think a lot of them got ugly, but a lot are still cute. Torterra (Turtwig's final form) isn't that ugly, really, compared to Empoleon and Infernape... I hate the fire monkeys, but I don't like monkeys.

There are others that are COOL looking, too. There are just as many ugly ones as there have been in the past... Most final evolutions are ugly, sadly.

That's the sad part... they have to evolve so you can beat people, but then you regret it because they looked so much cuter when they were smaller... *sighs*
