Whats Beter,Sonic or Mario?

I like both, so I cant vote.

I think sonics better.

Mario! He's been around in classic games since the 80s! I love playing the old systems with him on it! It's so much fun. Don't get me wrong, sonic is fine, but he is just, too... hollywood for some reason for me.

This is about the Video games, not Anime. And Sonic is better than Mario there, my friend had a tape with the Mario one & me, her, her brother, and one of my guy friends were covering our ears.

I thought that only lasted on Shadow the Hedgehog.

The person who played Eggman voiced died around 2002 or something, on each game a different person plays sonic voice, and I think Rouge has a different person playing her voice, but I still like her. Yes, Shadow the Hedgehog actors were bad, they didn't even sound right with their voices, no offense. I mean Charmy Bee with Max's voice from Pokemon!? >.<'

It depends. In general, I prefer Sonic.

But as far as the games go... The old games are great up until about Sonic 3D (that was BAAAAD). I liked Sonic Adventures 1 & 2 (hurray Sega Dreamcast!). Then everything after that sucked. Some of the Gameboy Advanced / DS games were okay because they were a lot like the older, originals.

Mario was great in the beginning, up through Super Mario Bros. He had some bad games, like "Where's Luigi?" or whatever it was called. He's had some interesting games, such as Super Mario Sunshine (I liked that game) and he has Mario Party 1 - bajillion, LOL. But he also has a lot of games, newer in particular, that aren't that great.

Old school is best when it comes to both, for the most part.

Mario is 'only just' better to me...Why? Because the new Sonic games are the WORST. that's why. Come on, those tunes give mey ears an allergic reactuion (From most of the 3D sonic games...Except for Sonic Heroes, Sonic Riders and Sonic Rush.)

While Mario kept his spark in 3D! I played on my friends version...i loved it. Although I've got more Sonic games than Mario games...I prefer Mario...Now to play New Super Mario Bros!

If you're talking about now... then yeah, I agree that Sonic sucks. (The new games... and voice actors = BLECH). It was great until Sonic Riders came out.

The only complaint I have with Mario is that it's a little repetitive. (But I love Mario Party and Super Mario Sunshine. Those games were awesome).

So I guess I choose Mario.

Sonic to me was only good in the first game or two for Sega Genesis.

Mario hasn't gotten bad.

Mario. He rules. He's just so classic! Goombas, Koopas, Bomb-ombs, Bowser; they've all been around since the 80s. I love New Super Mario Bros., and I also love the Mario and Lugi series (Superstar Saga and Partners in Time).
