I received an Aquapalz for my birthday on Friday, and I'm really enjoying it! Mine is a virtual jellyfish, but you can also purchase a dolphin version and fish version. They are a Toys R Us exclusive, and cost the same amount as a V4.5. A very neat feature is that they have an LCD lighted screen and very cute animations!
It is very easy to care for...which is always a plus.
The jellyfish has three life stages, mine has become an adult already. It has several fun games to play to keep him happy, funny little activities to make him do to entertain him as well, feeding option, cleaning, tank decorating, water quality, medicine...etc. The outside looks somewhat like an iPod.
Geez, I sound like I'm advertising. I really enjoy my jellyfish pet and I am going to purchase the others in the set soon. Has anyone else seen these or purchased one? I'm not sure how new they are, but I think it's finally a new type of virtual pet that is really enjoyable. Let me know what you think!
