I just found this story I started a little while ago...I added onto it, and I want to know what you think. :)

Too Good to be True

Cerys Tisdale opened her eyes, yawning. Sunlight flooded her room. Blinking, Cerys sat up in bed. She glanced at her clock. 10:00am. With a sigh, Cerys layed down again. It was the weekend, and quite frankly she didn't want to get up. There was a sudden knock on the door.

"Can I come in?"

Cerys imeddiatly knew who is was, and called out, "Yeah!" Her mother walked inside the room.

"Rise and shine!" she said, smiling. Cerys couldn't help but notice the resemblence her mother and herself had, escpecially in the sun. Ms. Tisdale long blonde hair fell below her shoulders, and her sea-blue eyes were full of happiness. Young and attractive, Ms. Tisdale looked more like a sister to Cerys then a mother. She walked towards Cerys's window and stared outside for a moment, before turning to Cerys.

"Are you going to come eat some breakfast with your sister?" Ms. Tisdale asked, starting to leave the room. Cerys nodded, though she could barely manage to lift herself off her nice, warm bed. Her mother left Cerys bedroom, though Cerys wished she could have stayed. Her mother never had much time to spend with her two children, as she had joineda modeling agency. She was there most of the day, and always came home tired and hungry. They had dinner, then imeddiatly Ms. Tisdale headed to bed. Luckily though, she didn't go to work on weekends which made Cerys glad. Cerys hopped out of bed and slipped on a 'I Love Me' T-Shirt. She took out a newspaper from under her bed, and headed into the kitchen. She could smell pancakes being made. Ms. Tisdale was murmuring to herself as she poured some tasty-looking batter into a pan.

"Cerys is up!" called Cerys older sister, Patty. Their turned and grinned. Some batter was smeared across her face.

"Finally decided to join us?"

Cerys laughed, sitting down at the table beside Patty. Patty looked like the complete opposite of her sister. She had short, brunette hair that curved sharply at her chin. Her emerald eyes shone brightly. She was serious and hard-working, and read the newspaper every morning. Cerys nudged her sister, hiding the newspaper behind her back.

"Obviously they haven't delivered the paper yet, huh?" she said, slapping her tail hard on the chair. Patty didn't respond to the nudge.

"Nope...." was all she said. Her sister got pretty cranky if she couldn't read the newspaper in the morning. Cerys gave her sister a sympathetic look.

"I understand your pain." she teased. Patty shoved her sister away, an angry look on her face.

"Mom! Cerys is teasing me again!" Patty whined, pouting. Ms. Tisdale (who just happened to finish cooking the pancakes), carried three plates over to the table. One for Cerys, one for Patty, and one for herself. She flicked Cerys shoulder.

"Please Cerys; don't tease your sister." she said, sitting down at the table. Cerys just snickered, revealing the newspaper she had been hiding. Patty gasped at her sister, and grabbed it.

"How did you manage to get it before I did!?" she exclaimed, immediately opening the paper that held all wonders of the world. Cerys folded her arms.

"It's my own secrect! I cannot tell. It was tough, but I managed to do it." she said, smiling slickly. Actually, it wasn't that hard. Cerys had simply watched what time her sister had gotten up to fetch the newspaper for the past 3 days. It seemed that Patty always went to grab it a half an hour after it arrived. So, Cerys had set her clock early for that morning before her sister would wake up. Cerys had quickly hopped out of bed, and got the paper; hiding it out of site. Why did she do this? Cerys is known for her tricks. Her mother couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh you clever girl! How do you come up with these crafty ideas?" she asked, taking a enormous bite out of her pancake. Cerys shrugged, taking in all the affection. She really didn't know herself. Patty was staring intently at the news story in front of her, then put it down.

''Hmph. There's nothing good in here to read anyways. I guess you just wasted your time this morning.'' she mumbled, smiling coldly. Cerys just shrugged. Patty could deny is all she wanted, but Cerys knew how angry and sad her sister had been.

''Hurry up and eat, you two. We're going to have a busy day today.'' Ms. Tisdale told her daughters, sipping her orange juice. Cerys tilted her head a little.

''Really? I really thought that we were just going to relax and spend a little time together...'' she sighed, trying to hide her disappointment. It had been forever since they last actually sat down, played a game or just chat. Ms. Tisdale didn't notice Cerys's upset expression.

''You girls will love what I have planned! I got you both an interview with my agent, Mr. Matthews. He said that if you two are pretty and have what it takes, then you could be models. Wouldn't that be super?! All of us working together and posing for the cameras....I can clearly see it happening.'' their mother droned on, pausing to finsh off her pancake.

''I don't believe they will turn down such to hotties.'' Cerys shivered. She didn't like it when her mother called them 'hotties'.

'

'Mom, you promised we were going to spend some family time together this weekend.'' Cerys argued, trying desperatly not to be angry. Ms. Tisdale started clearing up the plates, still smiling

''But this IS family time, sweety. We're going to be together, aren't we?'' Ms. Tisdale explained. Cerys sighed and placed her head in her hands. Patty, who had stayed quiet through the whole thing, finally said,

''I want more pancakes.''

I think it is REALLY good! There is lots of description, and good use of vocabulary. The only think I saw was a few grammar errors, and maybe you could add even a little more description (sounds, what Cerys' room looks like, lots of colours and the such) but other than that great job! :]
