Even though I didn't need to..I read through the instructions...I wanted to make sure I got everything perfect during the start-up/activation stage!

still waiting to get mine. ..

Ripped open the packaging box and started them right away is what I did.

I was kinda drunk, kinda hungover when it came in that mail that I kinda just stared at it for a loonnnggg time...Then I was like, "what the hell am I doing??" and ripped it open and started playing...I still havent read the instructions

I ripped open the brown ups packaging and staired at it in amazment!

Grr...When I got my Tama, we had to go to Arby's and I couldn't open her! I was sitting there CHEWING on the plastic trying to get her out...Now she's out and she's MINE!!!HAHA! i love you, Leyla!

Do not swear, please. I don't care how hung over you are, this is not the place to swear So please don't. Kids come here.

I was never aware h e double hockey stick was a swear word Im a kid too by the way. Ill try not to do it again though? haha

It depends on what context you use it in...Saying, what da h*** is a BAd way to use it. heaven or h*** is a not-so-bad way. I prefer not to use it either way, but it's like I always say, whatever floats your goat!

I stared at the packaging for a week, then tore it very carefully open, and read the instructions, then tossed the instructions, then clipped it onto my pants, then promised myself I'd wait until I got home to start it, but I couldn't resist and started it at noon.

LOL, I bought it in secret, so I read the instructions, and then asap went down the bottom of the garden to start it! I very nearly didn't buy one cuz I read somebody say on the internet (I did my research!) that you can't turn the sound off, so I was put off by that, and when I found out you COULD turn off the sound, I went out and bought one!!!!!!!

I got mine in the mail and I opened up the package (not the Tama package) and just started at it and did a once over on it. Then, I *carefully* slitted the side open and took out the instructions and read them... put it on my bed, and I had exams for my college courses all week so I had to forget about starting it up for awhile. Then I finally told myself I bought it to play with it, not to look at so I started it up. I found the transition from the vintage ones to the new ones to be a little disorienting, but you get used to it fast enough.

Then I was on a quest to find the rarer colors like the Green w/ Matrix. :-d. I found it for ten bucks! WoOt!

I couldn't stand opening it! I was so exided that I opened it and it flew right in the air then it landed. I did get it on my b-day! Oct. 21!!! First I opened it then I stared at it then I started playing without even knowing what the heak it was on the screen. So when I played I realized I saw a battery and the insrtoctions, so I read them then it was night time and I didn't know how to turn it off, then I surfed in the internet to see more info on tamagotchis. And soooo I found out about tamatalk.com

I read the instructions first so I wouldn't mess anything up. I'm always careful with the things I care about.

i opened it straight away and started of course! I didn't have the SLIGHTEST idea what i was doing and even thought i was figuring everything out all on my own (i didn't read the directions till I got my second tama) i managed to get a mametchi! (Mametchis are my ABSOLUTE fave char)

We were just pulling out of the driveway when UPS showed up.I opened the box and gnawed the package open ( I have strong teeth ).Truth be told I wasn't expecting much.The originals failed to hold my interest for very long.I turned out to be pleasantly surprised however.It didn't take long for me to get hooked,and now I'm collecting them.

Opened mine up and started it up right way did not even wait one little min and ever since i have been hooked
