That is scary!

One of those names is very close to my own, and one is my mom's!!

Thanks. I quite like Liz and Alicia...

In the past, books in which I have started the character's name is usually Riley or Chelsea. I like the name Riley

1. What is scary?

2. What are the names that are close to yours and your moms?

3. Glad I could help! Liz is my friend, who's real name is Elizabeth but most people call her Liz or Lizzie. And the name Alicia is the name of Lizzie's step-mom.

Thanks you're all very helpful.

Wine_Deer the scary part was linkied to the names. Kendra is like my name, but not quite, and the one underneath is my mom's, Casey.

Riley is like the coolest name there, but maybe you should be more creative.

But try thinking of a more creative title.

Should the title always reflect the story?

Not always. But your title must have some sort of connection with your story.

Is There A Connection Between Your Title And Your Story?

If you choose not to have the title reflect the story that’s fine too. But there should be some relevance between them.

If, for instance, your story is about a man walking on the moon, then it wouldn’t make sense to title it, ‘Walking on Mars.’

If your story is an uplifting tale about two characters finding love, then your title isn’t going to mention death, unless of course one of the characters’ die.

At first your title may not give away the nature of your story. But once having read the story, the reader will understand the connection.

Information from https://www.streetdirectory.com/travel_guid..._the_story.html

I voted for Riley, but I really like the name Shenade [shi-nade] or Deserae [Dez-er-ay] so maybe choose a more original name. I read a book once with a guy named Ponyboy in it, but that just made the story a lot more interesting!

out of those, i picked Riley.

but here are a few more names:

1. Sari

2. Carrie

3. Olly

4. Demi

5. Ana

6. Anna

7. Ruby

8. Zoey

9. Zemboria (LOL)

10. Quin

Hope it helps, barky!

I know you must've worked hard on it, and the title is obviously one of the hardest parts :p

Please give a preview of the story!

I gots some more too:

Zoey

Pam

Olivia

Kennedy

Kat(short for Kathrine on ur list)

I voted for Katherine myself, though....

You know it would really depend on the story like if you put the title as Veronica and wrote about a girl named Jasmine that wouldn't make sense.

Yeah, you're right. :D

But I'm not gonna make the title the main character's name, it's gonna be something cooler or whatever. :D

Thanks for your opnions. I'm only on the 3rd or 4th page otherwise I would post it and ask what you think. :D
