Do you collect fakes?

It depends on what you call a fake.

To me, fakes are tamagotchis on ebay that are trying to be Tamagotchi but are not.

Then there are the ones I call "Odd pets". Those are a whole other category of dog, cat, dinosaurs, and other pets that are just different virtual pets not really trying to be an actual Tamagotchi.

Then there are Giga Pets and Nano Pets. I don't consider those fakes either.

I collect the 'odd' pets, nanos and gigas but not the fakeys.

I just flat out HATE fakes! I was one of the seven that said so. HATE 'EM!! ;) :D

MnMztama495, it would be thoughtful of you to not bump a topic.  As I've seen other topic bumped by you, why not read this? https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=93581I'm going to ask a guide to close this as this has been bumped.  I hope you'll understand why I'm doing this. :(
Oh, no, I'm not trying to bump this topic! I'm just commenting that I hate fakes. I'm not looking to bump any topics! I just like commenting on topics and saying what I feel about it. :D

Btw that Jim Carry comment was supposed to relate to my comment. Maybe thats what bumped this topic.

Actually, this topic is not bumped.

If you read the guidelines for bumping topics they asked members not to bump threads over 3 months old.

Since this was started on 6 November 2007, it wouldn't be considered old unless it was bumped after 6 Feb 2008 :nazotchi:

I am sure everyone wants to follow the site rules, but it is equally helpful if you actually know what the site rules are...

I only show curiosity when the fake is a really good price and has harvestable parts. My friend gave me 3 really bad fakes and after I killed the one by accidentally dropping it on my bed, I'd had enough with it and chopped it. Batteries, buttons and screws are worth more to me as available replacement parts than in one of those crappy pets.

this haha.

I don't count Mothra, Forestgotchi, Wave UFO, bla bla bla fakes.

Fakes are fakes. 'Nuff said.

I always wanted to try out Mothra or something, they seemed cool though.

i only collect bandai tamagotchis. i'll never buy a fake in my life, or even an 'odd' pet, giga, nanopet or any of that stuff.

No fakeys. I do have some "odd pets" like Mothra does. They're not fakes; just made by another manufacturer, such as Tiger Electronics.

i have alot they are so funy like this one when they die, they turn into a fariy like thing o.o like a tinkerbell game pherhaps??? this is so confusing. ;)
