I bought a Wii slightly used from a GameStop on Saturday, and I just played it for the first time today. Of course, the first game I bought for it is Pokemon Battle Revolution...and it is ridiculously cool!

The downside is, it didn't come with any instructions for the Wii console. So, I have a couple nerdy questions for anyone who may know. First, how do I use multiple remotes for a multi-player scenario? Do I just purchase them and use them? I only have a remote and a nunchuk currently.

Next, What do the 4 lights on the bottom portion of the remote indicate? Only the one on the far left corner is lit right now.

Also, when I am done playing Pokemon, I noticed that when I try to turn off the console , the little indicator light in the Power button can be green, yellow, or red. When I'm not playing with the Wii, should I turn it to yellow, or red?

These questions sound totally nerdy, but I thought I would ask you guys to find out. :p Thanks!

1. You have to purchase them & connect all of them & play the multi-player game.

2. The lights are the stuff that tell what remote. (i.e. far left is the first one)

3.Red. (I may make mistakes so can someone correct me?)

1.Well first you buy the extra remotes and nunchuks... Then when you start the game, the window for pressing A and B comes up... And then you'll go to the other section for choosing your Mii and such... In that section you can choose to add the extra remotes for multiplayer... You will then have to press buttons 1 and 2 at the same time to add the remotes...

2. When you add a remote the lights on the bottom will flash... Then once the remote is added the 1 light will stay on... Depending on which remote you have... 4 remotes can be added for multiplayer... So say you have 1 remote added, then the left light will stay on for you... The second light will be on for the second person's remote.... And so on...

4. The Wii can stay on in standby mode 24/7... See your Wii can connect online.... So if you have a wireless router, you can go into the settings and set it up... User Name, Password and such... If you don't have a router, you can buy a connecter for the cable modem...

Nintendo sends you e mail to your Wii once in a while... E Mails containing free downloads or upgrades for your Wii... You will know if you have mail if the disc insert area is glowing blue...

And also you can go online using the Wii remote as a mouse... You can view web pages, send e mail to your friends... And you can also buy games for your Wii through the shop Channel...

Games such as Super Mario Bros., Sonic The Hedgehog, Zelda, Donkey Kong and many more.... Games ranging from NES, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, N64 are available for the Wii... Prices ranging from $5.00- 10.00 depending on the games...

So as you can see, the Wii can do many things....

Wow, thanks for the help! I really appreciate it, and I didn't know a lot of these things.

I think I'm going to go purchase another remote to battle against people in Pkmn Battle Revolution. :(

1. You can have four players. You connect Wii Remotes by turning on the Wii, pressing the home button in the middle of the Wii Remote, and the select Settings. Then, Select "Re-Connect Wii Remotes". Do as told to. Make sure you have 2+ to do that.

2. When the 1st light flashes up, that means you are using the one player remote. If the second light is blue, that means you are using the 2nd Player. And so on.

3. Yellow. Red is there when you experience a problem with your Wii, and you have to hold the power button to make it red. It also turns red during a storm.

1. If you open the little door, underneath the 'Power' button, you should see a memory card slot and a red button. That red button is a 'Sync' button. If you open (On the Wiimote) where the batteries are, you should see a 'Sync' button. Press and hold the 'Sync' button on the console and remote at the same time.

2. That shows what player you are. The first one lit up is Player 1, second lit up is Player 2, and so on.

Also, buy lithum batteries fo ryour remote. Common batteries don't last long in a Wii Remote if you plan to play it alot. Lithums tend to last a very long time. I had my Wii since Feburary. Congrates on getting one.

I bougth my wii a month a go. Your really lucky to have one! They are really hard to find.

1. They ligth up because like if you have 2 remotes then 2 ligths will ligth up the same color and same brightness.

2. It should be yellow or red

3. Yellow or red.

Even better then Lithum batteries...ARE Rechargeables! ! :D ~

Trust me, get rechargeables. Because if you have no batteries in your house it can be a pain in the butt to have to go out and buy more.

Not to mention that it's cheaper then having to go out and buy batteries every time they die.

Sometimes. I've found that some rechargeable batteries don't work.

Some of them have a lower Voltage (AA). But Most of them seemed to work
