Writer's Strike In Los Angeles

I heard that the writer's strike is still going on in Los Angeles. It started becuase of people downlaoding episodes off the internet ond as a result, shows losing money.

But I highly doubt that, seeing as most American shows are on in Canada...

It's not just LA I don't think. My uncle is a screenplay writer/script-doctorer, and he's on strike. He lives in New York.
