Hi,

My Kadet aquapet has a problem. I've had him for years, and the water level in his little tank has gradually dropped until he's not really submerged anymore. I guess the water molecules have just seeped out through the plastic, one by one, and by now nearly one third of the water has disappeared. Anyone else had this problem?

I've considered disassembling the base and look for a way to give him a refill. (I haven't done it yet, though.) Have anyone else tried this and, if so, how does it look in there? Is there something there where one could put in more liquid?

I have not had that problem. hmm..

I have not tried to take one apart either. I think it's a sealed chamber so getting it opened again would essentially be breaking it.

If it's some kind of cap you can take a seal apart on that would be the best case scenario. I would think you'd need aquarium sealant to seal it back shut again.

If you do manage to get that far, you will want to use distilled water and maybe a drop (no more) of bleach in there.

Good luck :)
