when you think of winter, you probably think of snow, christmas, and the advent calandar on neopets.com. :D but, there are some saftey concerns for all those tamagotchi lovers out there who can't go anywhere without their tama. sadly, tamagotchis can get moist, from the cold air outside. if it ever got inside of a tamagotchi's 'shell'...

well, that's a sad and dissapointing story. B)

here are some tips to keep your tama safe for the winter without any accidental tama-ruining mishaps-

+keep your tama in your inside-of-your-jacket pocket, or somewhere you know that snow or moist air or snow won't seep in.

+if you NEED to get your tama out of your pocket [if it was beeping or something], take it out, but keep it warm with one of your mittens or your hands or SOMETHING. do what your tama needs [from feeding it to punishing it to playing a game with it, ect.] if it's screen begins fogging up, wipe off the moist screen and put it back in your pocket IMMEDIATELY.

+if the screen does NOT stop fogging up for some reason, pause it and bring it inside faster than you could ever think you could run. when tamas get too cold, they guzzle battery energy and could make you lose battery power FAST. also, it could get water into your tama, thus ending it's career of being a living tamagotchi. put it in a warm, non-moist area and don't bring it outside. [keep it paused or it'll die, silly! :furawatchi: ] you can unpause it when you come back inside. [it's better to have a safe tama than a wrecked one!!]

I hope my tips help you out at all, and I hope you AND your tama have a merry christmas/hannukah/new year/WHATEVER!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind for when I take my Tama to school :3

Thanks! I guess that I've been lucky so far. I always take my tams out in the snow, often playing with them outside to. I've even dropped some in the snow! They still work though. Now that I know, I'll make sure to be careful with my tama during the winter months.

:D   Actually, winter is the lest moist seson. The humitity is lower, and with the heater on, it can make your house even dryer. Though you should be carful in the snow. If your worried about mositur then worry in the summer not the winter. I'sent that really obious, im 11 and even i know that!!! :( :D
