Wow, that's so awesome! Does anyone know if the movie will ever be released in America in English? That would be great, I would so go and see it!

Some good news for you movie fans.

Bandai Entertainment, an American distributor of anime, has gotten the rights to dub the film (in other words, they could make an English version soon).

Good to hear! As for me, I have my Japanese DVD on preorder, and will have it by the end of July. :P

Excuse me sir but its Tanpopo and not Tampopo and its not mamatchi but its mametchi. The movie was great though, my mom bought one while we were in Japan.
