The real thing is not packaged like that.

The real thing doesn't have that string/lanyard in the package.

 
No its a fake, they just put it in Bandai like packaging.

 
No, it's fake because look at the lanyard, it doesn't have Ban-Dai on it, a real tamagotchi doesn't have a model number design on it, and look at the logo on it.

It's a pretty good looking fake, but if you do get it, enjoy. :lol:

Actually UK tamagotchi packaging has never looked like that.

I know since I live in the UK and v3 was my first tama. No offence cecib, but it is a fake.

it looks like the one the that i got. well the box does anyway. i got my one from tokyo or japan or somewere like that. but it looks like a [SIZE=21pt]FAKE![/SIZE]
