I have another question about Pearl. How do youget your pokemon to destroy the rocks in the cave?

They can destroy the rocks once they learn the HM Rock Smash.

What CL said, and to move the boulders you need a rock pokemon to learn the move strength, same rock pokemon fr rock smash,
