In school right before Christmas break we were learning about poems and writing them and stuff and ever since then I've been writing them at home and stuff. I'm just wanting to hear some that you've written! Here's one I wrote last night:

I'll always be beside you,

Until the very end.

Wiping all your tears away,

Being your best friend.

I'll smile when you smile,

And feel the pain you do.

And if you cry a single tear,

I promise I'll cry too.

I'm gonna start writing love poems and stuff now I think!

hnn...interesting poem..**starts to write fast*

Bang

Another hit, another run

Under bright red morning suns

Another punch, another throw

Blood spilt fresh upon white snow

Another scream, another yell

the women silenced, so not to tell

Another victim on the ground

No longer would they make a sound

the man says “….child, get my gun

because this game is almost won"

I hope this confuses you....Cause if it does its doing its job.

Wow, those are really good poems! Here's one I wrote:

In every conversation

I dwell on every lip

I tumble out with envy

And at your heart I grip.

I pry apart your friendships

And whisper in your dreams

Although I am a craving

I'll make you want to scream.

The more I am repeated

The more I trick your mind

The more you try to track me down

The easier I hide.

At first I may seem harmless

Just a senseless little quip

But soon I am a yearning;

Into your mind I rip.

Even though I'm abstract

See the damage I can do?

For my name is Gossip

And like fire, I consume you.

Those are great!

I dug this up that I wrote a few weeks ago when I was totally bored and running out of ideas...xP Not one of my best poems.

Welcome to my school

Where we have the geeky, the emos, and the cool

I don't really know where I fit in

Probably somewhere in between

I'm not a nerd, I don't cut myself, and I am not exactly mean

The geeky ones are with glasses, the ones who study hard

The ones who pick apart their grass and brag about their yards

They are extremely smart in math

And smell like they don't take baths

They have pale complexsions and oversized teeth

They experiment with ants on a maple leaf

The emo ones are with dyed black hair and beady little eyes

They have mascara running down their face and ''nobody hear's their cries''

The ones who paint their nails black and pierce their lips over and over again

They write poems and tell me, ''I can feel no pain.''

The cool ones are handsome and beatiful and perfect in every way

They always know exactly what words to say

They fail at school

But are extremely cool

They are the ones who buy expensive stuff

In most cases they think their tough

I honestly don't know where I belong

Is labeling others right or wrong?

Perhaps I'm too unique for cliques

My personality I can't fix

Into a group I might be shoved

But I want to me, which I love!

Please note that the labeling in this poem isn't intended to be offensive. The opinions in this poem do not reflect actual opinions or true facts.

I wrote this one, it's not very good. I got so annoyed with it I started to purposely write it badly. We were supposed to write a "Poe-like Poem". After reading this I don't even want to imagine what grade I got on it. Sadly, this is the best poem I've written for school all year. :p

As the Day Goes On

The sky is dark, there is only one singing lark

Slowly awakes the small sheep flock

The sky is brightening, the world is lightening

The sleepy shopkeepers begin to unlock

As the clock goes tick tock

Now the sun is high, way up into the sky

The air is very hot, but to no one that is a shock

For it is noon, and lunch will be very soon

A lizard suns himself on the top of a rock

As the clock goes tick tock

The sun is sinking, the shadows are shrinking

The fishermen come back to dock

Lamps are lit as families go to the table to sit

The wife removes her smock

As the clock goes tick tock

The stars begin to blink, the sky is like ink

Lights go out around the block

The wolves sound their cries at the fireflies

The farmer puts in his stock

As the clock goes tick tock

Some of that kind of sounds like cricket

I'm not really a poet. I used to be able to write them really well, but not anymore.

Wow. Those are all great; I couldn't write a poem if I tried. I especially like TGD's.

Ha i do have one myself i dought all my own work so i have no comment on it but here goes...

Beliveing

Have you ever had the felling

that you belived in something

just to have it torn from you.

Have you ever dreammed when you wehre little

but just to be crushed from

knowing its just a fantisy

have you ever wished ,

wished on a star that one day

all of your misery will go away

but it won't happen.

When i belive i fell like screaming

when i dream i want to die

When i wish i feel like forgetting

So why not burn your dreams

Give up on wishing

Because believing is just a waste of time

there just my one poem..

My one friend..kinda took out the last part and added happy stuff -_____-0...i did not sound right but i like my verion

Thats really good and quite intresting and sounds like something my cousin would think of XD awesome and true

I love poetry ^-^

I just made this.. not my best work, but eh.. it's okay.

A long while back, we walked down the dirt paved road..

Hand in hand, we smiled and laughed.

We talked of every little thing to talk of.

But now, that is only a memory.

Where did you go?

Why did you leave?

I think about our walk.

To me, this only a walk down memory lane now..

I used to have a talent in poetry, but then I kind of lost it and attempted limericks. So now, I have this really long bizarre style of limerick. o_0 If I tried, I could turn out something, but theres not much to turn out, but I do write some occasionally.

Alright, I wrote this one not long ago, tell me what you think!

The Dark

A poem by Kaffeeklatschgirl3

All alone in the dead of night,

The demons about to attack,

I stood unaccompanied without a weapon,

Supporting my unconscious friend Zack,

He had taken one look at their bloody faces,

And horrible orange eyes,

Then screamed and fainted into my arms,

Out of terror and surprise,

I dropped my friend and stooped down,

Picking up a rock,

And threw it to stun the one on the left,

But the other began to walk,

Slowly and deliberately,

With a levelled pace,

Then it stopped mere inches,

From my own pale face,

It muttered a few words,

In unfamiliar tongues,

And then all the air,

Was sucked from my lungs,

I couldn't take a breath,

My whole body began to quake,

And then face down on my pillow...

I found myself awake

So... how is it?

Snap my fingers and close my eyes.

Take me now to Paradise.

It Might be awsome, It might be nice.

But Take me now to Paradise.

Dont Be Mad

And please dont get sad.

You're still in my heart, so be glad.

Though your not in my sight

You know that I am right.

So please forgive me tonight.

For I'd like to take a moonlight flight

And Land in that place celestial Light

Oh Paradise, so bright!

So, Snap my fingers.

And close my eyes, and hope that I will end up

In Paradise.

I like that alot! It's imaginative.

Eh........I do have quite a few, but most of them are a little too personal to put on here, but I might dig one up.......later.

I am a good writer, but I am too Shy to share them, they are kind of biographical, maybe when I get up the courage I will share them, but not now.

Oh, and S:. <_< ? I think I got yours, oddly enough.

Wow! It's weird, most of the time I just cn't find the...rhythm in non-rhyming poems, but this one's good! Haha a Z!
