Who was dissapointed with the V4.5?

I wasn't, I quite liked it, I just thought it was rushed and too much like the V4

What are all your opinions?

i think it is better than the last tama i had (a version 2) when i was eight. but a lt of people prefer the versions 3 and 4 but i have never had one so... i am definately not dissapointed with my 4.5 but i am interested in the v5 but not allowed to get it as i have just bought a new 4.5

I suppose it depends on what you expected from the V4.5

The fact that it wasn't a "V5" was a hint that it was not going to be completely different from the V4, so I was just expecting a few changes.

New designs and antenna, different games and characters, different jobs...

There are a lot of similarities to the V4, but I still liked playing the V4.5 and learning how to win the new games and using the different skills points to get different characters / special characters.

I'm expecting more from the V5 of course - and from what I hear it's certainly a different tamagotchi to the previous versions

I love it. Its the same as the v4 but a better but thats why it was called, V4.5 not V5.

its kinda dumb, bandia rushed to get the ura characters to the U.S. and the v4.5 was the result. they were almost NO differences so they couldnt call it v5. i like the 4.5 but they v4 and v5 are better, there shouldnt be an in-beyween.

I like the V 4.5 a lot. But i am really disappointed that the V 5 is coming out this month and I bought V4.5 one month ago.

I think BanDai released the v4.5 to be able to make more money because they know that Tamagotchi collectors and fans in particular will want to buy it, as well as other people who want the "latest" Tamagotchi.

At the very least, they should have had a different Tamatown for the v4.5. For example, the Entama and the Uratama sound similar (though I don't have them) but at least the pixel colours and the Tamatown are different, plus I think they have different items.

Yeah I like 4.5 but it just doest have that virtual pet feeling, So far I think V3 was the best V4.5 just didnt have enough charecters and you get the same charecters over and over again.

yes meeee i was!! It wasn't even as good as v4.

I didn't like it very much I kept having to change the batteries in mine I still like the V4 and V5.

[SIZE=9pt]I don't own a V4.5, but I kind of disagree with it. I dunno, I guess Bandai just...shouldn't have made it. I don't think there should be an in-between of versions, because it's kind of rushing it, you know? What is Bandai going to do if they want a V6 or V7 or so on to come out? It was very much like the V4; you get a character, earn skill points for it, and it gets a job. The only thing that's different is the skill points, jobs, and characters. Of course, the V4.5 was good for people who like to collect Tamagotchi's for fun. Other than that, I don't think Bandai should've came out with it. But if you guys say it's fun, then yes, it would be fine (I guess) .[/color-][/SIZE]

Honestly I didn't like the V4.5 or the V4 very much at all. The mail is annoying to me, I don't like having to get jobs for my Tama...it just felt too much like raising a little person to me as opposed to a little creature. I do like all the items you can purchase in the shop, but they are pretty expensive. Also, I feel that the games are too long and irritating.

I love Tamagotchis in general, but I just prefer other versions and generations to the 4 and 4.5. I'm really looking forward to the V5.

ya I knw tamagotchis were origanally for 1 character only but I think that it is a breath of freash air for some people to raise a family because they might be bored with the concept of just 1 pet. The v5 offers new stuff and it is just original my thoughts are I love the new v5 I am getting one in a day but that is for me I know some people just like the idea of one pet but me I think the idea of a family is great!
