:kuribotchi: to tell a fake apart from a real tam is pretty simple. ALL tamagotchis(real ones!) have a bandai logo or writing on it!!!

Yes, thanks, that is probably the most obvious way to tell if it is a fake or not. But also, the packaging in a Tamagotchi might look different.

Indeed. If the packaging looks cheap, or is made with low quality materials, then there's a high chance of it being a fake.

Also, the package should have the Bandai logo, and should never be on a flimsy blank card with a weak plastic bubble around it.
